“I was once asked why I don’t participate in anti-war demonstrations. I said that I will never do that, but as soon as you have a pro-peace rally, I’ll be there.”? Mother Teresa

We believe if Mother Teresa had been alive, she would have attended White House Prayer for Our Nation! This is a pro-peace, pro-God, and pro-fore fathers of American ideals rally!
This universal gathering is being held on the lawn of the most powerful house in this country! A gigantic turn out is needed for this event right now as fear, poverty, and hatred have been turned into a political force. It is possible to harness the powers of God, love, and decency for this American Nation, so join us in this effort to raise the vibration of our leaders and lawmakers.
Please show up and bring friends concerned for our future as well, this will add to the number of participants at this event. Unity is key and there is power in our numbers and greater strength in our prayers for humanity.
We invite you to join us on as our task is to create a new, whole-person politics. We pray to break free of a past based on a decidedly outdated view of the world. With this day of prayer, we embracing a more enlightened understanding of our relation to each other, as “One Nation under God” and to guide our leaders with prayer. Together, we the people of faith of the United States of America can come together to form a more perfect union.
A more perfect union inviting Interfaith Leaders and their multi-dimensional understanding of our national story on the lawn of The White House.
The 20th Annual White House Prayer for our nation focuses on where we have been, where we are, and where we need to go now. Join us as we do all this with the Power of Prayer in stories, the Power of Prayer in songs, and The Power of Prayer in spoken word and unity.
In the words of author and political activist Marianne Williamson, “As with other extraordinary times in our history — from our Founding to Abolition to Women’s Suffrage to the Civil Rights era — it is time once again to break free of an old way of being and embrace a new story going forward. As in the words of Abraham Lincoln, “… we must think anew, and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country.”
President Bill Clinton was living in the White House when Rev Dr. Terry Lee received a vision to pray for the leaders of our nation, our government, and our nation and the first event was held in 1998. This vision manifested itself and the “birth” of the White House Prayer Initiative began and continues to this day. We thank Presidents…..Bush, Barack, and Now Donald Trump.
White House Prayer for Our Nation is important because:
Democracy in America, since the time of inception, has been important both in the political history and in the moral evolution of the world. America is both a Nation and a concept or idea of a society that exists in which conceivably anyone and everyone can worship, pursue happiness, and equality regardless of their religion, color, or gender. This fundamental idea must be constantly renewed.
As a founding father, Benjamin Franklin repeatedly emphasized prayer. Franklin openly acknowledged that their frequent prayers throughout the Revolution had been answered. Hence, America became an independent nation rather than remain a subjugated British colony. That is just one example of how answered prayer changed the course of the nation.
Recently, this dangerous trend that will ultimately affect the ideals of our founders have found their way into the hearts of many in our great American Nation. Now is the time to pray and invite reawakening of that original revolutionary spirit and good politics.
Benjamin Franklin, Mahatma Gandhi and Martin Luther King Jr. based their political philosophies on their moral convictions.
This 20th Annual White House Prayer for Our Nation is the principle of inviting God, Miracles, and Morality into our Nation. Join us on May 26th to pray our Leaders to have God, moral veracity and political effectiveness in uniting our nation!
The event is hosted by Rev Terry Lee annually with special interfaith guest and entertainment yearly on The Ellipse of the White House Lawn – the North West Quadrant.

Warmly,
Dr. Sarah
