HAPPY HOLY DAYS – Hanukkah
The first day of Hanukkah also known as Chanukah or Festival of Lights.
Hanukkah 2022 began in the evening of
Sunday, December 18
and ends in the evening of Monday, December 26
It starts with special blessings at sunset. Many spiritual people light the menorah, which is a type of candelabrum.
The lighting of the menorah, according to Jewish tradition,
during this time on the calendar, there was only enough oil to burn for one day in the Temple.
Miraculously the oil burned for eight days.
Lighting the Hanukkah menorah commemorates this miracle.
