What can you do for this October Full Moon? This can be done till October 22th!

The October 20th Full Moon will be guiding you to break free from any limitations you and humanity has placed on ourselves.

This is a Full Moon where you can set humanity and yourself free of all that is holding us back and weighing us down.

You will need:

• Smudging tool of choice

• 1 Candle and Fresh Flowers

• 3 pieces or more of paper and Pen

• 3 Bowls of Water in metal or glass and matches

• Mediation (Loving What is)

• Sea Salt or Himalayan Salt

• 3 tsp of Oil used in cooking

• Lavender oil or Frankincense oil or Sandalwood oil

Feel free to substitute the essential oils for whatever you have on hand.

You can also substitute pure aloe vera gel for cooking oil too.

Directions and Tips for October Full Moon Ritual

Take your ritual ingredients and have them set up around you so you can access them easily throughout the ritual.

Begin by smudging your aura and then your surroundings including your oil bowls. (See your version of “Holiest of Holy” Natural Law – The Field -Oneness, Love, Goddess, Nature, God, Jesus, Mohammed (PBUH), Love of All, Buddha, Guru, Mother Mary, Amma)

As you cleanse your aura recite the following or feel free to say what you feel in the moment-

“I am now cleansed. I am now renewed. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

As you cleanse your surroundings recite the following or feel free to say whatever you feel in the moment-

“I cleanse the area and fill them up with joy. My space is filled with Forgiveness, Love and Thank you.”

Get comfortable and begin with the “Loving what is meditation” !

https://www.miraclemakersacademy.com/

After Smudging you, your sacred space and Meditation

Light your Candle

Take first piece of paper and draw an Eye! (Ancient ones drew the eye of Horus – any Eye will do!)

Any Eye you draw represents Humanity, Safety, and Truth

Second piece of paper and write the story of you and humanity being free!

Write with feelings and as if Humanity is already free (we are) and taking care of Earth and you!

Third sheet of paper set aside for now!

Take your 3 small bowls and place 1 tsp of coconut oil or substitute in each.

Sprinkle some salt in each bowl and the essential oil of your choice! Mix up each using a spoon until well blended and place to the side. Top with a fresh flower.

You will not need the salt or the oils again for this ritual, so you can pack them away before beginning.

In the Bowls of Water, you will say a forgiveness for humanity and forgiveness for anything in your life!

—->When it comes to learning to forgive humanity , it turns out we can learn a lot from ancient indigenous people such as those who inhabited Hawai’i.

They understood on a gut level that to harbor resentment against others hurts us all! Hurts Oneness!

You do the work for everyone, especially the persons who do not understand!

Ho’oponopono, the Hawaiian forgiveness process, allows us to cut the aka connection (essentially clearing out preconceptions in how we are )

to create new connections and rejuvenated relationships.

In Huna, the ancient Hawaiian discipline of energy and healing, the ho‘oponopono process is essential if we want to be pono (right and congruent with ourselves).

This makes sense. After all, how can anyone feel good about themselves and their own life when they walk around stewing over the past! You are freeing humanity from its blindness!

The Hawaiian word ho‘oponopono comes from ho‘o (“to make”) and pono (“right”). The repetition of the word pono means “doubly right” or being right with both self and others. In a nutshell, ho‘oponopono is a process by which we can forgive All of Humanity and to whom we are connected.

Say out loud over each of the bowls:

  1. Sorry- (Feel the sorrow)- “Forgive them for they know not what they do!” “Forgive me” “Release me- Release us”
  2. I Forgive you- Feel compassion – “I release you”- Release any past you felt Humanity have – Feel Oneness with All as you repeat- “I forgive you” … “I forgive you!” Feel yourself forgiving humanity! Feel everything forgiving everything. Feel doubly right!
  3. Thank you- Repeat steps one and two until you feel gratitude! Feel gratitude for the current moment! Feel gratitude for the Earth, the Moon, and our Oneness! Feel gratitude for being able to do this for Humanity and feel gratitude for What beats your heart! Whatever beats your heart and Breathes you- say “Thank you…Thank you Thank you!”
  4. Love- Feel the love you have inside your heart! You are doing this for humanity! Feel the Love that Oneness has for you! Flow with that love- you may want to move or expand your body as you say,  “I Love You!” Feel the love! Feel the love for whatever is exciting for you! Expand for humanity, expand for yourself! Say loudly, while feeling love… “I love you!”

After the Ho’oponopono meditation Activation, take your first piece of paper with the eye

Carefully

Light it on fire and drop it into the first bowl!

Be careful because most oils are flammable! The paper only needs a little element of fire! The whole paper doesn’t need to burn! Drop it into the activated water!

On the second paper write

more IF you feel called!

(Second page) You Can Add in writing  3 limiting beliefs or actions that hold you or anyone back.

Take a moment to then list the 3 beliefs or actions that could free humanity and you!

I recommend keeping it simple and starting with the things that come to your mind first.

You may use more paper if necessary! You are helping humanity and you!

If more than 3 come to mind, feel free to keep writing.

Now, read over what you have written and sit with any emotions that come up then say:

“I let go of these beliefs and actions that hold humanity or any being back.

Now that they have been identified, I can take positive action to release them from humanity and All life.

I thank them for serving a purpose in life but now, the time has come to let them go. I release all limiting beliefs.

I release all limiting actions. I release all that weighs me down and keeps me playing small.

Now, I can rise. Now, I can stand tall. Now, I can be who I was destined to be.”

When ready, light this (these) paper or papers on fire and drop into the second of the three activated bowls! Again only a corner of each page needs to burn!

Be careful!

On the third paper, write:

10 loving things You can do for yourself  and humanity for moving your life and all life forward.

Do not burn this 3rd paper!

After writing sit and

Think about what limiting beliefs humanity is shedding because you are doing the work!

Feel the lightness of what you just shed for humanity!

Feel the space and expanded Miracle Frequency!

You are being the change! You are doing the work in the most ideal time to be doing this!

Feel it!

Activated Water from the third bowl… take and rub drops on your belly near your belly button!

You are cleansing and releasing for humanity! You are living the truth…  Humanity is free, you are Free-  Feel the freedom!

Notice any tingles or vibrations in your body as you are giving yourself these energy cleansing waters!

Rub the activated water on your hands, belly back and anywhere you feel called to place this activated water!

Finally, keep breathing! Just breathe and be still!

Once ready to complete this activation ritual look at all three bowls- Two with burnt papers. One you dipped your hands in!

Recite  the following or feel free to say whatever you feel in the moment-

“The release has occurred, my work here is done. I am excited for what is to come. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you.”

Watch the candle for three deep breaths and then put the candle out!

You may light the candle when inspired, guided, and celebration energy is wanted!

And you are done!

You can keep your list of 10 things to reflect on throughout the month. Add to this and share with friends as you feel inspired!

Throw the water in the garden and discard the burnt papers in the recycling.

Happy Full Moon!

THANK YOU: https://astrobutterfly.com/ for the following:

October 18th, 2021 – Jupiter Goes Direct

Good news! On October 18th, 2021 Jupiter goes direct at 22° Aquarius. Jupiter will be spending a few more months in Aquarius, before moving (for good) into Pisces. This is our chance to “get it right” and find the driving purpose behind the area of our life (house) where Aquarius sits in our chart.

October 18th, 2021 – Mercury Goes Direct

… and the really good news, Mercury goes direct as well on October 18th, at 10° Libra.

Both Mercury and Jupiter rule our thinking processes – both Mercury and Jupiter turning direct on the same day is quite something – so you can definitely expect clarity and answers. A veil will be lifted and it will become clear where you stand.

October 20th, 2021 – Full Moon In Aries

Continuing the theme of action initiated by the New Moon in Libra, our October Full Moon at 27° Aries is as fiery and as cardinal as it can be. The Full Moon in Aries is opposite Mars and square Pluto, so it’s an explosive one for sure.

Whatever has been brewing in the first 2 weeks of the lunar cycle will reach a climax. This Full Moon will shake us to the core – and (especially if you have planets in the last decan of cardinal signs) you want to be very mindful of what you do with what emerges from this.

October 23th, 2021 – Sun Enters Scorpio

Welcome to the Scorpio season! The Scorpio season is our yearly opportunity to get in touch with the powerful Scorpionic energy of renewal and transformation.

We all have areas of life that need pruning or reinventing – and when the Sun is in Scorpio we can become intentional about what we want to change in our lives – and then take the necessary action.

October 30th, 2021 – Mars In Scorpio

Speaking about taking the necessary action. October saved us the best for last. On October 30th, Mars enters its domicile sign, Scorpio. Mars is the planet of action, and Scorpio gives it the depth and drive to conduct this Martian impulse to achieve whatever we set our sights on.

Karma – Science

The ‘science of karma’

Organizational psychologist and top-rated Wharton professor Adam Grant says one secret to success is helping others succeed.

By Anna Miller

Monitor Staff

October 2013, Vol 44, No. 9

Print version: page 28

Adam Grant, PhD (credit: Mike Kamber)

Adam Grant, PhD, is one of those people you want to resent: At 32, he’s the youngest tenured professor at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, where he has the highest course evaluation ratings of any teacher and where he’s never taught a class that didn’t win an Excellence in Teaching Award.

He graduated magna cum laude from Harvard, earned his PhD in organizational psychology from the University of Michigan in less than three years and has published more than 60 journal articles in his young career.

He’s well-rounded, too: He’s been an all-American diver (athletic, check), professional magician (charismatic, check) and is married with two young girls (loving and lovable, check, check).

But you can’t resent him because, darn it, you like him.

According to Grant, being genuinely giving isn’t just icing on the cake — it’s why there’s a cake at all. In his recent book, “Give and Take” (which is, naturally, a New York Times and Wall Street Journal best-seller), Grant compiles his and others’ organizational psychology research on work motivation, pro-social behaviors, leadership and more, and sprinkles in stories of successful businesspeople and organizations, to make a compelling case that you don’t have to be ruthless to get ahead at work. Instead, he says, techniques such as doing “five-minute favors” for others and reconnecting with loose acquaintances can reap long-term career rewards.

“There’s reason to believe when you adopt a consistent stance of pro-social behavior, that has a profound effect on the depth and the breadth of your relationships,” Grant says, “and so you end up with a wider set of relationships and a richer, more meaningful set of connections.”

Employers can advance their businesses by tapping into people’s kindheartedness, too, he says. In a study he conducted during graduate school with a team of students, Grant found that campus call center workers primarily raising scholarship money brought in 171 percent more revenue each week after hearing how their work positively affected someone’s life (Organizational Behavior and Human Decision Processes, 2007). In another study, Grant and David Hofmann, PhD, found that physicians and nurses used 45 percent more soap and hand-sanitizing gel next to signs that read “hand hygiene prevents patients from catching diseases,” whereas a sign that swapped “patients” with “you” had no effect (Psychological Science, 2011).

“Psychologists tend to study the causes of pro-social behavior, not the consequences,” he says. “What I’ve tried to do as an organizational psychologist is ask, ‘What are the implications of these behaviors for success?'”

The Monitor talked to Grant about what he’s learned.

Why is this idea that the good guy can win so revolutionary?

I’m joining a long line of people who have said that giving is better than getting, but what’s new about my book is that it’s putting a science behind karma. There are a lot of people who believe that what goes around comes around, but we don’t really know how and why that works, or more importantly, when that works — because sometimes what goes around doesn’t come around. I find that if you want the good guys to win, it requires thoughtful strategies and a set of supportive conditions.

In your book, you group workers into three categories: The givers, the takers and the matchers. What does each of them look like?

The takers are the people who are trying to get as much as possible from others, and typically they don’t want to give much back. The givers on the other end of the spectrum are the people who enjoy helping others and often do it without strings attached. The matchers are the people who fall in the middle, who try to maintain an even balance of give and take.

Your research has found that some givers rise to the top of organizations, but others sink to the bottom. Who’s who?

The biggest differences have to do with whether or not you give in ways that are self-sacrificing. Selfless givers tend to fail, as they struggle to set boundaries. They put other people ahead of themselves almost all of the time and they’re willing to drop their individual goals and ambitions and productivity for others.

The givers who end up succeeding are the ones who are careful to say, “I’m going to be clear about who I want to help and when and how I want to help them.” Also, successful givers are much more likely to focus their giving on fellow givers and matchers, becoming a little more cautious when dealing with takers. It can be pretty risky to help takers who are willing to take advantage of you.

What can organizations do to cultivate a giver attitude among employees?

The first research-backed practice is selection. Many people assume the key is to hire people who already gravitate toward giving, but it’s actually more important to screen out takers than to hire givers. The reason is that one bad apple can spoil the barrel; one good egg doesn’t usually make a dozen.

Step two is making sure you create mechanisms to recognize and reward people who give, such as by allowing employees to nominate one another for company-wide recognition. In so many organizations, the most visible, successful people are takers who are really good at claiming credit and hogging the spotlight. To overcome this problem, we need to focus on promoting not just the people who have great individual results, but the people who actually make those around them better.

The third step is the most counter-intuitive — to encourage more help-seeking. There can be lots of givers without takers, but there can’t be givers without receivers. We need people who are willing to be clear about what they need, articulate how others can be helpful and receive those contributions with gratitude. Otherwise, the givers in the organization never know who would benefit from their help and how. So, creating a culture of help-seeking and making it a sign of strength — as opposed to weakness — is a good way to create opportunities for people to give.

How have your findings changed your own behaviors?

As I did the research, I realized that I was falling victim to helping the people who had a history or reputation of being selfish. I’ve learned to be clearer about trying to help givers and matchers, and I’m much more cautious now about helping takers than I used to be.

I’m also much more likely now to ask people to help me help other people. When I first became a professor, I’d spend 30 to 60 minutes with each undergraduate who came to my office hours to prepare them for job interviews. As I taught more and larger classes, I couldn’t do that with every student, and my knowledge became more dated — it had been longer since I had gone through that interview process and I felt less helpful than I used to be.

As I was doing my research, I read about the idea of creating a mentoring network with a pay-it-forward norm, and I started asking the students that I had helped with practice interviews if they would be willing to do that with my current students. The amazing thing was that a lot of students did it and I would get emails from them saying, “This is more fun and meaningful than my job. Can you send me more students to help?”

You’ve also been an all-American diver. How did being a giver help you succeed as an athlete?

Diving is a really tricky domain, because individual competition is zero-sum. When I tried to be a giver as a diver, I spent time informally coaching my peers. In some ways, that compromised a couple of moments of my own success. Then again, it’s often said that the best way to learn something is to teach it. In the long run, I think that I became a much better diver because I was trying to help other divers get better, and that led me to learn things that I could apply to my own diving.

What other research would you like to see done in this realm?

For me, the biggest unanswered question is: How do you turn a taker into a giver or a matcher? There’s a lot of research on how you get people to give in certain situations, but I think we need to better understand how we inspire people who see the world as a dog-eat-dog, competitive, me-first place, to shift their mindsets more fundamentally. Another interesting direction would be to link styles of giving, taking and matching to communication. I was able to piece together some suggestive studies and stories to argue that takers are more likely to use powerful communication and givers are more comfortable with powerless communication. That’s an opportunity to do research on the communication styles of givers and takers, and how our motives affect the way that we speak and the way we reveal our vulnerabilities or our strengths.

In the meantime, all I could think of to do was write a book arguing that giving is not as costly as you might think, and hope that might tilt some people. I’d love to see research on whether it does.

Is Karma Real? Is Karma What You Think? Is Your Health and Wellness Affected by Karma? Can you Plant Positive Karma Seeds And Change Your Life!

The Science of Karma

Karma, is deeply personal to me. It is something I have studied and researched since my near death experiences in my teen years!

John Edwards, director of CLA’s School of Psychological Science and OSU’s Contemplative Studies Initiative. says,
“In the Buddhist point of view karma is a psychological phenomenon. It happens because of the way the mind works. It’s not some general force that exists in the universe. It’s not the hand of God,” “The basic idea is that your own behaviors and actions lead you to experience the world in a certain way.”

Is Karma, mental imprints collected over billions of discreet actions in our lifetimes that create our karmic pattern?

Is Karma external events or the fact that people treat us in certain ways?

Is Karma how we interpret? How we remember? How we make sense of these external events over time?

Does Karma Affect your Health?

Joe Dispenza says, “Karma is a thing…it feels to be a real thing that affects us.”
“As long as you are thinking equal to your environment, your personal reality is creating your personality and there is a dance between your inner world and the experience in the outer world and that tango is called karma.”

BENEFITS OF STRUGGLING

A man found a cocoon of a butterfly. One day a small opening appeared, he sat
and watched the butterfly for several hours as it struggled to force its body
through that little hole.

Then it seemed to stop making any progress. It appeared as if it had gotten as
far as it could and it could go no farther. Then the man decided to help the
butterfly, so he took a pair of scissors and snipped off the remaining bit of
the cocoon. The butterfly then emerged easily.

But it had a swollen body and small, shriveled wings. The man continued to
watch the butterfly because he expected that, at any moment, the wings would
enlarge and expand to be able to support the body, which would contract in time.

Neither happened!

In fact, the butterfly spent the rest of its life crawling around with a
swollen body and shriveled wings.

It never was able to fly.

What the man in his kindness and haste did not understand was that the
restricting cocoon and the struggle required for the butterfly to get through
the tiny opening was God’s way of forcing fluid from the body of the
butterfly into its wings so that it would be ready for flight once it achieved
its freedom from the cocoon.

Sometimes struggles are exactly what we need in our life. If God allowed us
to go through our life without any obstacles, it would cripple us. We would
not be as strong as what we could have been.

And we could never fly. Purposeful Struggling gets us to soar in the area of our choosing!

“According to evolutionary biologist Elisabet Sahtouris, when a Caterpillar reaches a certain point in its evolution, it becomes OVER CONSUMPTIVE, a voraciiious eater that consumes hundreds of times its own weight.

At the SAME TIME, inside the molecular structure of the Caterpillar, something called the “IMAGINAL CELLS” become active. They WAKE UP, LOOK FOR EACH OTHER, and begin to cluster inside the Caterpillar’s body. WHEN ENOUGH of them CONNECT, even though they are not in the majority, they BECOME THE GENETIC DIRECTORS of the FUTURE of the caterpillar. At that point the other cells begin to DISSOLVE and become what’s called the NUTRITIVE SOUP — out of which the imaginal cells create the absolute unpredictable MIRACLE of the BUTTERFLY!”

~ excerpt from the Awakening the Dreamer, Changing the Dream Symposium

Who is Marianne Williamson? Why do so many young people support her? Why do leaders, luminaries, sages, and guides quote Marianne? Can I meet Marianne?

Who is Marianne Williamson?

‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.’ Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles.”

Why do so many young people and politicians support Marianne?

Radha wrote on Facebook:

The Revolution of Love, Politics & Civics is NOW

Marianne Williamson is most renowned for her lectures on the book, A Course in Miracles, which defines a miracle as, “a shift in perception from fear to love,” and the earth and our country is ready and in need of a miracle! Some of the earth’s crises consist of environment which affects our food sources, ground water, the oceans, sea life, animals, deforestation, plants, air quality, soil quality, climate, and new scientifically made genetically modified hybrid creatures. Environmental issues were discussed in seminars that Marianne created called Sister Giant.

“The purpose of Sister Giant is to support a higher level of contribution among those who want to increase their efficacy as activist and/or candidate. The Conference is home to a higher level of political conversation — one that includes the heart as well as the head — and uplifts the tenor of citizen involvement. Together we can create a politics of conscience. You will find rich resources at Sister Giant, to support you in both your inner and outer journey to a more powerful, effective and meaningful citizenship.” – SisterGiant.com

Radha Christy goes on to write: “The 6 Sister Giant conferences comprised: Rousing the Sleeping Giant of American Womanhood in February 2010; Women, Non-violence and Birthing a New American Politics in 2012, focusing on these main topics: child poverty, mass incarceration, Citizens United, and issues that supported women running for office; Awakening our Conscience, Restoring our Democracy in 2015; Progressive Candidates Summit in 2016, featuring progressive congressional candidates; Critical Spiritual and Political Issues, featuring experts such as Bernie Sanders in 2017; A Revolution in Consciousness Paves The Way to Both Personal and Political Renewal, The Love America Tour in 2018.

Marianne is a humanitarian. “The Project Angel Food Program was founded by Marianne Williamson as an outreach program of the Los Angeles Center for Living, which helps people with life-threatening illnesses. The Center for Living provides numerous programs, such as The Clean Team, Project Nightlight and Hospice Care. The Center for Living also prepares lunch for drop-in clients and delivers meals to homebound clients. Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson and David Kessler held the first fundraiser for Project Angel Food and raised $11,000.” – AngelFood.org

“The values, leadership, and power to galvanize movements that Marianne Williamson demonstrates is what is needed. Because Marianne embodies what our forefathers embodied, she has broad appeal! Marianne Williamson possesses love, visionary solutions, and comprehension of systems we require in the leadership of the United States! Marianne is every human’s advocate because she helps all, prisoners, the sick, the hungry, and leaders hire her for advice in their companies!” – Dr. Sarah Larsen

DEPARTMENT OF PEACE

Imagine a department of peace and please advocate a cabinet-level Department of Peace!

The proposed department, which would have to be created by an act of Congress, would “work actively and interactively with every branch of government on policy matters related to both international and domestic peace issues.”

“It’s ironic to me that George Bush’s Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, said, ‘We must learn to wage peace,'” Williamson said in an interview with the Register at her residence.

“Expertise in peacebuilding is just as sophisticated and important as expertise in military action,” Williamson said. “I have great respect for the military. My father fought in World War II. I see the military much like one would look at a surgeon. Obviously, the United States needs to have the best surgeons in the world, but everyone knows you only have surgery if you absolutely must.”

Williamson’s Department of Peace would also establish a “Peace Academy,” which she would model after military academies.

The academy would provide a four-year concentration in “peace education.” Graduates would be required to serve for five years in public service programs dedicated to domestic or international nonviolent conflict resolution, according to her plan.

Split between domestic and international duties, the department would be overseen by the Secretary of Peace, who would serve as a member of the National Security Council and coordinate with other members of the cabinet.

“Right now,” Williamson said, “our national security agenda could be likened to someone who doesn’t take care of their diet, doesn’t take that much care of exercise, doesn’t take much care of lifestyle, in terms of health, and just waits for when the inevitable sickness arises and hopes that a doctor can eradicate or suppress the symptoms of their sickness.” (From: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2019/08/19/marianne-williamson-unveils-department-peace-plan-includes-peace-academy-proposal-2020-elections/2049803001/)

Rumi Quotes

The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.

Your body already knows how to eliminate the fears that control your life, replace anger and confusion with peace and confidence, and become a more loving, understanding, and happy spouse, dating partner, parent, family member, co-worker, boss, and friend.

——————————————————-

When you precisely understand the nature of you and your absolute self, you become both…. “emptiness” and “presence.”

You understand how emptiness appears in manifestation.

Your emptiness is simply the insubstantiality, the nonbeing, of manifest forms.

In areas you are empty you are “nonbeing”. It is what makes the absolute you so light, so empty, so spacious, and open.

I want you to have this in your love ability! In every one of your relationships, this is possible!

Consider the story of Gautam Buddha!

Like me, is your question about the Buddha’s wife and son that he left behind?

Vikram Bhattacharya touched my heart with that part of the story
—————He left her in the middle of the night, the night their son was born. When she heard the news
she was devastated. Yet, she did not complain but her
life lost all meaning. The only
reason for her to live now was
her son. She wanted him to grow
up to be a man that the world
would look up to. Her friends and relatives came
around and asked her to forget
about the man who had left her
and start life again. They asked her to marry again
but she refused. She was young
& beautiful & suitors queued up
outside her door, but she refused each one of them. Then one fine day he came back! He stood in front of her and she could hardly remember him as the man who had left her. “They call you the Buddha now?” she asked him gently.“I hear they do,” he answered in
a calm fashion.“What does it mean?” she further inquired.“I think it means the enlightened one, a knower,” he informed. She smiled and then silence.

“I suppose we have both learned something. Your lessons O Buddha will make the world richer in spirit, but my lesson will, unfortunately, remain largely unknown.”
she reflected deeply….“ And what lesson is that? ”
The Buddha probed. Her eyes sparkled with unshed tears, “That a courageous woman does not need anyone to complete her…..
SHE IS COMPLETE ON HER OWN ”

Saluting womanhood for the Yashodhara spirit. !!!

Dharma means the eternal and inherent nature of reality, regarded in Hinduism as a cosmic law underlying right behavior and social order.

(In Buddhism) the nature of reality regarded as a universal truth taught by the Buddha; the teaching of Buddhism. an aspect of truth or reality. “all dharmas are forms of emptiness”

So let’s just move on to some of my favorite tips from Mahatma Gandhi.

1. Change yourself.
“You must be the change you want to see in the world.”
“As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.”
If you change yourself you will change your world.
If you change how you think then you will change how you feel and what actions you take. And so the world around you will change.
Not only because you are now viewing your environment through new lenses of thoughts and emotions but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn’t have – or maybe even have thought about – while stuck in your old thought patterns.
And the problem with changing your outer world without changing yourself is that you will still be you when you reach that change you have strived for.

You will still have your flaws, anger, laziness, negativity, self-sabotaging tendencies etc. intact.

And so in this new situation, you will still not find what you hoped for since your mind is still seeping with that negative stuff.
And if you get more without having some insight into and distance from your ego it may grow more powerful. Since your ego loves to divide things, to find enemies, and to create separation it may start to try to create even more problems and conflicts in your life and world.

2. You are in control.
“Nobody can hurt me without my permission.”
What you feel and how you react to something is always up to you. There may be a “normal” or a common way to react to different things. But that’s mostly just all it is.
You can choose your own thoughts, reactions, and emotions to pretty much everything.

You don’t have to overthink, freak out, the worry or even react in a negative way.

Perhaps not every time or instantly.
Sometimes a knee-jerk reaction just goes off. Or an old thought habit kicks in.
And as you realize that no-one outside of yourself can actually control how you feel you can start to incorporate this thinking into your daily life and develop it as a thought habit.
A habit that you can grow stronger and stronger over time. Doing this makes life a whole lot easier and more pleasurable.

3. Forgive and let it go.

“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.”
“An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.”
~Gandhi said that!

Fighting evil with evil won’t help anyone. And as said in the previous tip, you always choose how to react to something.
When you can incorporate such a thought habit more and more into your life then you can react in a way that is more useful to you and others.
You realize that forgiving and letting go of the past will do you and the people in your world a great service.
And spending your time in some negative memory won’t help you after you have learned the lessons you can learn from that experience.
You’ll probably just cause yourself more suffering and paralyze yourself from taking action in this present moment.
If you don’t forgive then you let the past and another person to control how you feel. By forgiving you release yourself from those bonds. And then you can focus totally on, for instance, the next point.

4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.

“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.”
Without taking action very little will be done. However, taking action can be hard and difficult. There can be much inner resistance.
And so you may resort to preaching, as Gandhi says. Or reading and studying endlessly. And feeling like you are moving forward.
But getting little or no practical results in real life.
So, to really get where you want to go and to really understand yourself and your world you need to practice. Books can mostly just bring you knowledge.

You have to take action and translate that knowledge into results and understanding.
Move on to the next point for more on the best tip for taking more action that I have found so far.

5. Take care of this moment.
“I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.”
The best way that I have found to overcome the inner resistance that often stops us from taking action is to stay in the present as much as possible and to be accepting.
Why?
Well, when you are in the present moment you don’t worry about the next moment that you can’t control anyway. And the resistance to action that comes from you imagining negative future consequences – or reflecting on past failures – of your actions loses its power.
And so it becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus on this moment and perform better.
Have a look at 8 Ways to Return to the Present Moment for tips on how quickly step into the now. And remember that reconnecting with and staying in the now is a mental habit – a sort of muscle – that you grow.
Over time it becomes more powerful and makes it easier to slip into the present moment.

6. Everyone is human.
“I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.”
“It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”

When you start to make myths out of people – even though they may have produced extraordinary results – you run the risk of becoming disconnected from them.
You can start to feel self-doubt and like you could never achieve similar things that they did because they are so very different.
So it’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are.
And I think it’s important to remember that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Holding people to unreasonable standards will only create more unnecessary conflicts in your world and negativity within you.
It’s also important to remember this to avoid falling into the pretty useless habit of beating yourself up over mistakes that you have made.
And instead be able to see with clarity where you went wrong and what you can learn from your mistake. And then try again.

7. Persist.

“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.”
Be persistent. In time the opposition around you will fade and fall away.
And your inner resistance and self-sabotaging tendencies that want to hold you back and keep you like you have always been will grow weaker.
Find what you really like to do. Then it will be easier to stay positive and you’ll find the inner motivation to keep going, going and going.
You can also find a lot of useful tips on how keep your motivation up in 27 Simple Ways to Motivate Yourself.

One reason Gandhi was so successful with his method of non-violence was because he and his followers were so persistent. They just didn’t give up.
Success or victory will seldom come as quickly as you would have liked it to. I think one of the reasons people don’t get what they want is simply because they give up too soon.
The time they think an achievement will require isn’t the same amount of time it usually takes to achieve that goal.
This faulty belief partly comes from the world we live in. A world full of magic pill solutions where advertising continually promises us that we can lose a lot of weight or earn a ton of money in just 30 days.
Finally, one useful tip to keep your persistence going is to listen to Gandhi’s third quote in this article and keep a sense of humor. It can lighten things up at the toughest of times.

8. See the good in people and help them.

“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”

“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.”
“I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.”
There is pretty much always something good in people. And things that may not be so good. But you can choose what things to focus on.
And if you want improvement then focusing on the good in people is a useful choice. It also makes life easier for you as your world and relationships become more pleasant and positive.
And when you see the good in people it becomes easier to motivate yourself to be of service to them. By being of service to other people, by giving them value you not only make their lives better.

Over time you tend to get what you give. And the people you help may feel more inclined to help other people. And so you, together, create an upward spiral of positive change that grows and becomes stronger.
Nowadays it’s easier than ever to help people out and to start such a spiral. You can do via social media, a podcast, a channel on Youtube or you can start a blog like I did.
Another tip is to strengthen your social skills. By doing you can become a more influential person and make the upward spiral I mentioned even stronger.
Move on to the next tip for more on that.

9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self.
“Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.”
“Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.”
I think that one of the best tips for improving your social skills is to behave in a congruent manner and communicate in an authentic way.
People seem to really like authentic communication. And there is much inner enjoyment to be found when your thoughts, words and actions are aligned. You feel powerful and good about yourself.
When words and thoughts are aligned then that shows through in your communication. Because now you have your voice tonality and body language – some say they are over 90 percent of communication – in alignment with your words.
With these channels in alignment people tend to really listen to what you’re saying. You are communicating without incongruency, mixed messages or perhaps a sort of phoniness.

Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your own belief in what you can do. And other people’s belief in you too.

10. Continue to grow and evolve.
“Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.”
You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world.
Sure, you may look inconsistent or like you don’t know what you are doing from time to time. You may have trouble to act congruently or to communicate authentically
But if you don’t then you will, as Gandhi says, drive yourself into a false position.
A place where you try to uphold or cling to your old views to appear consistent while you realize within that something is wrong. It’s not a fun place to be.
To choose to grow and evolve is a happier and more useful path to take.

Glossary of Spiritual Wisdom

When you precisely understand the nature of the absolute, the paradoxical co-emergence of emptiness and presence, you understand how emptiness appears in manifestation.

Emptiness is simply the insubstantiality, the nonbeing, of manifest forms.

This nonbeing is what makes the absolute so light, so empty, so spacious, and open.

You begin to see that this absence appears at more superficial ontological dimensions as the experience of inner space, with its various degrees of subtlety.

Since it is nothing at all, it appears as the total openness for anything to arise and as the allowing necessary for anything to be.

Such openness and allowingness are the properties of empty space, which we experience inwardly as inner spaciousness and openness, and outwardly as the space where all manifestation occurs.

In other words, space is the reflection of nonbeing in manifestation. Because we do not understand the paradoxical nature of true nature, as a co-emergence of being and nonbeing, you conceptualize nonbeing as space and being as manifesting forms.

Just as our ignorance of the timeless flow and unfoldment of the logos leads to our conceptualizing time to account for the changes brought about by this unfoldment, our ignorance of the spaceless non beingness of true nature leads to our conceptualizing space to account for the accommodating openness made possible by the emptiness of the absolute.
