I am so excited to share Lazaris, who is channeled by Jach Pursel because of what he shares in this exclusive interview which is filled with insights on our world! Watching this may open you up to opportunities you have been waiting for your whole life or one of your favorite memories from childhood.
Here is one of my favorite memories, this memory reminds me of why I am a fangirl and a citizen of the United States of America plus a Galactic Emissary.
Why did I become that? Because from being a wee baby girl till my “wonder years”I grew up in many very different places! I was raised in the ideals she, the US, made possible in our world such as a government ruled by the people, individuals in service to something greater than oneself, and the purpose of art and free speech is to ask questions.
Imagine growing up in several countries as a global citizen. Like many of you, I did because my grandparents, parents, and schooling was filled with discussion.
In the mid 1970s in the incredible home my grandparents had built in Rawalpindi, Pakistan – our family room would become the hub of all activity as my grandparents took the cloth down that covered our very large TV.
Grandpa -an army man who fought Hitler and for a free India, Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh would sit upright and center in the back of the veranda. Kids on the ground and women comfortably next to each other fluttering about quietly so we could all watch the programming that came alive nightly. And people of all faiths, dressed well would gather in our home to discuss the people, places, and poetry- I mean ideas behind what we just experienced together on the television.
I would in my cute little frocks made for me with my mary jane shoes and white socks recite nursery rhymes. I was everyone’s little girl because they had seen me grow in my mother’s belly and birth in one of our family homes. My hair was always in a pebbles type ponytail on my head because my older brother would take me to the barber and he loved “the Flintstones”! Or just got my head shaved everytime because that way he would get more attention for cuteness -the stories we are told about our siblings! Little pebbles, I would recite what I had learned in nursery school. (I like the version of the story that goes along with my brother seeing me as pebbles best cause I have a very cool older brother!)
TV, discussion, poetry, and grandkids’ performances, mine was often a nursery rhyme I had learned at the convent school “”Mary had a little lamb”. “Baba baba black sheep” and “Humpty dumpty”…I would recite on a stump placed for me to perform on. Shy or not shy it was a nightly event especially because sharing art, ideas, and the world we were building was so important to all of us!
People of all faiths, Sikh, Hindu, Christian, Muslim, families of the Jewish faith and agnostics, would break roti and discuss an individual’s struggles – “the why” of powerful people. We were being the change discussing what was seen on tv or read about in the paper. Serious things like the smallpox outbreak, fun things like the Academy Awards summary where the ceremonies were presided over by Burt Reynolds, Diana Ross, John Huston, and David Niven.
Like the movie “The Sting, won best Story and screenplay based on factual material or material not previously produced or published.
Imagine watching clips of Jack Lemmon, Robert Redford, Paul Newman “The Way We Were”. Clips of Barbra Streisand, Tatum O’Neal, and Joanne Woodward.
We lived in a part of town near Babu Mohallah an older neighborhood that was a business and government hub of the city. It is rich with diverse cultural heritage. There you’ll find the grand Bohra Mosque. Right next to it you’ll find an old Victorian church and a Hindu temple right in the backstreet plus a Jewish building on Nishtar Street lies in the middle.
Sweet army or government officials, their wives and children over having tea with incredible spreads of food much of which is purchased daily as farmers with their wooden carts pulled by ox called out to ladies of the house from the alleyways behind the estates. Great storytellers, beloved children and bargainers got the best deals from those farmers in the early morning.
They too got the scoop on what was going on in the world. Oh how the ideas spread, ideas for peace, exploring health solutions plus political points of view or religion, spiritual principles, Hollywood and Bollywood latest gossip!
Professional Men, women, and children, farmers, cooks, and tailors discussed it all, science, spirituality, society, and fundamental truths.
In our home grandpa especially shared nonviolence principles and how to release a set of beliefs that leads one to indoctrination. They would discuss the trauma of breaking away from a controlling environment, lifestyle, religious and political figures.

They were especially excited one minute the transfer of power from the Nixon trials then the need for awareness of the smallpox epidemic or what caused war.
My grandfather, Zia, may he rest in peace, with his strong voice would call out to my grandmother -she was often called Rosie – Bagum-sabah – or one of his many respectful pet names!
My impressions and memories of them -sleeping nightly in my grandmother’s arms -my strong loving grandparents exposing nonviolence.
It felt especially important to them to be respectful, respected and giving the best they created to all people. For our family, respecting your neighbor was to never force their beliefs onto another human. It was a matter of keeping their heart, mind, and possibilities for the next generations open.
When my Mom left Pakistan for America to join my dad working and sponsored as an engineer by Proctor and Gamble we had several years without them -those gatherings -the love they gave us all carried me for years!
So when I heard Lazaris, channeled by Jach Pursel, all of those incredible memories rushed back to me.
Who is Jach Pursel? A hero in my eyes because he began channeling “a friend” Lazaris. Today it is common to hear of that -imagine what it was like in 1974 -imagine the courage it took.
