Who?
You are Invited on a Cultural Journey
into the Heart of Mexico.
Through your experience with your Anahauk guides, the beauty of Mexico, ancient monuments and healing places you will deeply connect with who you are and initiate yourself into the next chapter of your life. The Anahuak culture is alive and thriving despite the stories that they and other Mesoamerica tribes are extinct. Their ancestors lived during the time of the Aztec Empire. The Empire is gone, yet the wisdom of the culture prevails in the continuity of their astronomy, astrology, natural medicine, and ceremonial music.
Become ….
The Anahuak still count the days according to their calendar tradition and celebrate the particular energy of each day accordingly. You will receive a fire initiation and be given your sacred name based on their calendar and your birth date.
Traditional Elders will be our guides for our visit to The Templo Mayor in Mexico City. This is the main temple of the Aztec Empire. Here you will begin to further understand the symbology and wisdom the culture holds.
Next, we travel to Teotihuacan, the city of the Gods, where you will attend celebrations of the calendar and a traditional Mesoamerican welcoming. The Teotihuacan Guardian of Mexica Traditions at the Pyramid of the Sun and Moon will be your guide.
Lastly we will travel to the Sacred Valley of Chalmita North of Mexico City. Here you will have time to replenish your body and soul, as Mexican ancestors did, by visiting the sacred pools of Chalma and enjoyingthe magnificent sacred valley surrounded by old growth forest. We will be staying at a beautiful villa in the Ocuilan forest called Centro Nierika. Here you will have time to integrate your new understandings of yourself and the world, enjoying the gardens and permaculture orchards and through a healing circle, Cacao Ceremony, and Sweatlodge.
