A Total Solar Eclipse is a synthesis of the mystical and mathematical and creates a spectacle that provides context to our place in the solar system and inspires the mind, body, and spirit.

To create the container for this experience, we are enlisting the assistance of an international team of creators, builders, and go getters, integrating their unique skills into a global production team.Patagonia Eclipse is a destination event. The site is far from populated areas and cut off from phone reception which takes all who come further away from the default world of meetings, commutes, and daily grind.

Most people in attendance will travel a great distance and make a great commitment to share in this experience. These are the people who we wish to commune with. Dedicated, authentic seekers of awe and truth and beauty. This experience will see a coming together of peoples that will happen one time only in alignment with one of the most spectacular phenomena one can ever witness.

New Moon

Monday, December 14th at 8:16 am PST you arrive at the last new moon of 2020. This moon is supercharged as it brings with it the only total Solar Eclipse of the year. A powerful winding down of 2020 and initiating of a new cycle as we move towards the Great Conjunction of Saturn-Jupiter in Aquarius on Solstice, December 21st.

While only seen from Argentina and Chile, this eclipse will be felt globally. Solar eclipses occur when the new moon passes between the sun and the earth completely blocking out the light of the sun.

New Moons and Solar Eclipses bring new beginnings and new opportunities. This Moon is no exception with the solar eclipse creating an initiatory energy, as what seeds, intentions and dreams are being planted in this next cycle will have lasting impact as we move into 2021. With the sun and moon meeting in Sagittarius, this energy is amplified. Sagittarius, a mutable fire sign, known for being creative, philosophical, idealistic, and the adventurer here to see and learn the secrets of life through experiencing it.

Fuelled by its ruling planet Jupiter, it brings optimistic and expansive energy when in its most aligned state. A reminder to stay open, curious, and keep our focus on what we are creating into being. That we can use this energy of fire to inspire and activate the highest possibilities we have for our future and for the world. The eclipse falls on the South Node, bringing with it the energy of what has come before, a time to reflect on what we have been through this past year.

Showing us how far we have come, where we have grown, and what may still be in the way of bringing our dreams to fruition. After such a monumental year there is a lot to look back on and review. When we can see each challenge as an opportunity, each lesson as growth then we can move into this new cycle with more self-awareness, acceptance, compassion, and love. What a year of initiations on every imaginable level.The challenges and opportunities, the limitations and expansions, testing our resilience, our ability to adapt and stretch beyond what we knew as possible.

Our cosmic landscape has reflected this through its powerful conjunctions, retrogrades, eclipses, here to remind us that we are in this together. That the lens we see and experience life through may be individual, though we are simultaneously experiencing life collectively through our shared experiences. Moving from the concept of this OR that into this AND that. Being reminded that through our shared experiences, we can create more connection, more understanding, more compassion.

That it is through our similarities that will pave the way forward into the new world we are co-creating. As we move close towards the Solstice and the Grand Conjunction, taking space to honor this journey we have been on. We may feel old emotions and thought patterns surfacing to be cleared. Honoring any shadow aspects that may need integrating.

Reaching out for support if needed and staying curious and compassionate with ourselves. It’s been a huge year and it feels important to recognize what we have been through and how far we have come. As this energy continues to heighten, making self care our priority. Listening to what is needed and what will best support our physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual wellbeing.

Replenishing our energy by keeping hydrated, resting when needed, moving our body, stilling the mind, deep breathing, and staying grounded through our connection to nature. Together we are dreaming this new dream into being. We are the ones we have been waiting for.

On December 14th, 2020 we have one of the most important astrological events of the year: a New Moon and Total Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius.

If you’ve been paying attention to eclipses, you already know how powerful they are. But not all Eclipses are made equal. Partial eclipses, while still fated, are less impactful than Total eclipses.

The upcoming Solar Eclipse is a Total Solar Eclipse, so it’s a biggie.

The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius is also a South Node eclipse. South Node eclipses (unlike North Node eclipses) are connected to clearance of karma. “What goes around comes around”.

Although they tend to have a bad rep, South Node eclipses don’t always come with negative consequences.

The South Node is much like a payout. Some people can have their greatest achievements and recognitions at a South Node eclipse.

The difference here is that while North Node eclipses bring something new in our life, South Node eclipses deliver outcomes based on previous actions. At a North Node eclipse, you are creating new karma, at a South Node eclipse, you reap what you have sown.

However, this eclipse is a Solar Eclipse or a New Moon Eclipse and you may be well aware that New Moons and Solar Eclipses are associated with new beginnings.

So how come we have both an ending (South Node) and a new beginning?

If you look back in your life you may discover that your greatest turning points were a combination of both endings and new beginnings. To seed something new, we need to clear the space.

A new beginning can only happen when we tie up some loose ends. Moving to a new city or country is a new beginning, however, it is also an ending, because you leave behind a part of your history.

The Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius on December 14th, 2020 is the most important eclipse yet since the Lunar Nodes have moved in the Gemini/Sagittarius axis, so something fundamental about the Gemini-Sagittarius Nodal transit will be revealed.

Gemini Vs Sagittarius

The Gemini/Sagittarius axis is the axis of knowledge, of how we make sense of the world. But Gemini and Sagittarius have different approaches to knowledge.

Gemini rules our primary thinking process, how we process and make sense of information, from a logical, fact-based perspective.

Sagittarius rules the higher thinking processes such as abstract thinking and imagination.

Both Gemini and Sagittarius are concerned with information.

If Gemini is the basic delivery of information (without opinion statements), Sagittarius is deliberately crafted communication that can be used to educate/influence opinions or to share propaganda.

If Gemini is defined by curiosity, and approaches everything with a beginner’s mind, Sagittarius can lack curiosity and prefers to follow the marked path, which has advantages and disadvantages.

Sagittarius doesn’t waste time reinventing the wheel, and can indeed save time and energy by sticking to what’s already proven to work. After all, we wouldn’t want to come up with a new law every other day.

The downside is that it can also fall victim to dogma, and can get stuck in paradigms that have outgrown themselves. The flip side of “following the marked path” is missing important information, reaching flawed conclusions, and ultimately, making bad decisions.

Now, since the upcoming eclipse in Sagittarius is a South Node eclipse, it will likely expose the limitation of the “Sagittarius” approach, and all those themes ruled by Sagittarius, are now up for reform.

Solar Eclipse In Sagittarius – Truth Vs. Misinformation

Information censorship is a big topic at present – which is not surprising if you are an astrologer. The South Node is in Sagittarius after all.

And while people have mixed opinions about this (probably depending on how much Sagittarius vs. Gemini energy they have in their charts), one thing seems to ring true for most: nowadays, people have just about ‘had enough’ of being told what to think, and what to believe.

Information censoring is NOT what North Node in Gemini wants, and the South Node eclipse in Sagittarius will expose some corrupted attempts to influence our belief system.

Telling people what information is true and what information is false is a double-edged sword.

We may do it to protect others, but on the other hand, how can we be so sure we know what’s good for them? Where does our freedom of thought infringe on another person’s freedom of thought?

This is a catch 22 but with North Node in Gemini and South Node in Sagittarius, one thing is for sure, more and more, people want to think for themselves (North Node in Gemini) and not be told what to believe (South Node in Sagittarius).

Social Media censoring information as false news has infuriated many. Not because the news was or was not false, but because Social Media has ‘decided’ what is true and what is false on our behalf, ignoring that most of us have enough critical thinking to make up our own minds and to decide for ourselves.

And since the North Node is in Gemini, our ‘let me decide for myself’ instinct has been awakened!

But then again, sometimes censoring information may be the ‘right thing’, how a Sagittarius would say. We don’t want to have violent or abusive content online, especially if our children have easy access to it.

What kind of information ‘should’ be broadcasted and what kind of information ‘should’ be censored is not an easy question to answer – especially when the Lunar Nodes are on the axis of knowledge and information.

However, it is in the back-and-forth dance of the North and the South Node that we can find, perhaps not the ‘right’ answers, but at least, better kinds of answers.

What we can expect from the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius

Sagittarius is the sign of moral conduct, philosophy of life, higher truth, law and judicial systems, religion, globalization, foreign relations, long-distance travel, trade, higher education, publishing, and broadcasting. Here are some developments the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius can bring:

• Rebellion against being told what to think and what to believe in
• Changes in the way information is communicated and broadcasted
• Truths may surface, something that has been hidden may come to light
• Some irrefutable beliefs/moral standards may be questioned
• Important laws may be changed
• Developments in long-distance travel and international trade
• Reforms in higher education

Of course, the Solar Eclipse in Sagittarius will not impact everyone equally. If you have a planet or an angle close to 23° Sagittarius or Gemini, then you will be impacted directly.

If you don’t have a personal planet or angle close to the degree of the Eclipse, the eclipse might not influence you directly, but it will still influence you indirectly, because global events affect us all, irrespective of our natal chart.

Today we’d like to introduce you to Dr. Sarah Larsen.

Dr. Larsen, please share some of your back story with us.
My family emigrated from Pakistan to the United States when I was 6 years old. My dad had landed a position as an engineer at Procter & Gamble in Cincinnati. Eventually, we moved to New Orleans where my parents got into retail and acquired commercial properties in the French Quarter.

As they built their businesses, they ensured that my siblings and I had the finest education and established successful careers; my sister and I both became doctors, my older brother became a successful real estate investor, and my younger brother received a law degree and MBA. They instilled in us a tremendous work ethic, one that has served us to this day.

You’ve done something pretty innovative with your medical training. Care to share?
After I moved to Los Angeles with my husband, I set up a practice as a medical intuitive and energy healer. Becoming a doctor and working in emergency room type settings for Non-Governmental Organizations in the United States and abroad was profoundly rewarding.

My training as a healer began with my grandmother in the villages of Pakistan as a young girl.  She was the village healer and healed with foods, herbs, and subtle energy. Most of my official medical training was in India, Costa Rica and Trinidad and Tobago. This formative time of my education and experience trained me to look beyond just the physical systems. I embodied the eastern philosophy of, “to heal is to become a better person.” I also understood western allopathic science and methods and the need for reproducible results.

In Los Angeles, I began to realize my mission and purpose to combine medicine with holistic healing and life coaching. I believed there were even more substantive ways to help people. My patients might have had a range of physical symptoms, but I wanted to look beyond that, to see the areas in their lives where they felt stuck or unfulfilled

I have worked with countless high-achievers and successful entrepreneurs, helping them bring their lives into balance mentally, physically, emotionally and spiritually. My clients were financially successful, but many were sacrificing relationships and health. They had chased money at the expense of their overall well-being. My work involves helping them reset, and giving them the tools they need to live far more enriching lives. I know how emotional setbacks can impact every area of your life, especially your health.

And you’ve learnt that through experience?
When I was 14, my parents married me off to a much older man. I suffered years of physical and mental abuse at his hands. At 19, I was left for dead in an attempted honor killing. I managed to escape the horrors of that life. For years thereafter, I tried to hide from my trauma, throwing myself into the pressures of getting a medical degree and then into a demanding career. I also focused on my passion for creating peace through medicine. But inside I felt deeply empty. I realized that in tandem with my desire to heal others, I needed to heal myself too.

I enrolled in multiple alternative health and coaching programs and aligned myself with renowned healers. The physical scars of those horrifying five years in an abusive marriage might have faded, but I had to deal with the emotional scars before I could really be there for others.

What can someone expect when they schedule a consultation with you?
Fundamentally, your body doesn’t lie. Everything that passes through your subconscious mind impacts what happens in your body, and your life. Through the skills I have acquired over the decades, combined with my medical training, I can tune in to your body’s energy fields and see what is going on. Sometimes vital organs are sluggish. Or a client’s neurochemistry is off, slowing down their thinking and creative process. I can see where in the body old hurts and anger linger, and can help my clients release them.

How can your work serve high-achievers on a daily basis?
Business leaders are required to make decisions that lie beyond just numbers on a page. They need to know how to work harmoniously with others, to cope with the inevitable challenges of the business world, to seamlessly pivot when needed – and, most importantly, to really look after themselves so they can optimally be effective in their day-to-day lives. Let’s clear out old patterns and ways of thinking that no longer serve you, so you can forge ahead in a bold and inspired way.
