‘Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us. We ask ourselves, “Who am I to be brilliant, gorgeous, talented, fabulous?” Actually, who are you not to be? You are a child of God. Your playing small does not serve the world. There is nothing enlightened about shrinking so that other people won’t feel insecure around you. We are all meant to shine, as children do. We were born to make manifest the glory of God that is within us. It’s not just in some of us; it’s in everyone. And as we let our own light shine, we unconsciously give other people permission to do the same. As we are liberated from our own fear, our presence automatically liberates others.’ Marianne Williamson, A Return to Love: Reflections on the Principles of “A Course in Miracles.”
Why do so many young people and politicians support Marianne?
Marianne Williamson is most renowned for her lectures on the book, A Course in Miracles, which defines a miracle as, “a shift in perception from fear to love,” and the earth and our country is ready and in need of a miracle! Some of the earth’s crises consist of environment which affects our food sources, ground water, the oceans, sea life, animals, deforestation, plants, air quality, soil quality, climate, and new scientifically made genetically modified hybrid creatures. Environmental issues were discussed in seminars that Marianne created called Sister Giant.
“The purpose of Sister Giant is to support a higher level of contribution among those who want to increase their efficacy as activist and/or candidate. The Conference is home to a higher level of political conversation — one that includes the heart as well as the head — and uplifts the tenor of citizen involvement. Together we can create a politics of conscience. You will find rich resources at Sister Giant, to support you in both your inner and outer journey to a more powerful, effective and meaningful citizenship.” – SisterGiant.com
Radha Christy goes on to write: “The 6 Sister Giant conferences comprised: Rousing the Sleeping Giant of American Womanhood in February 2010; Women, Non-violence and Birthing a New American Politics in 2012, focusing on these main topics: child poverty, mass incarceration, Citizens United, and issues that supported women running for office; Awakening our Conscience, Restoring our Democracy in 2015; Progressive Candidates Summit in 2016, featuring progressive congressional candidates; Critical Spiritual and Political Issues, featuring experts such as Bernie Sanders in 2017; A Revolution in Consciousness Paves The Way to Both Personal and Political Renewal, The Love America Tour in 2018.
Marianne is a humanitarian. “The Project Angel Food Program was founded by Marianne Williamson as an outreach program of the Los Angeles Center for Living, which helps people with life-threatening illnesses. The Center for Living provides numerous programs, such as The Clean Team, Project Nightlight and Hospice Care. The Center for Living also prepares lunch for drop-in clients and delivers meals to homebound clients. Louise Hay, Marianne Williamson and David Kessler held the first fundraiser for Project Angel Food and raised $11,000.” – AngelFood.org
“The values, leadership, and power to galvanize movements that Marianne Williamson demonstrates is what is needed. Because Marianne embodies what our forefathers embodied, she has broad appeal! Marianne Williamson possesses love, visionary solutions, and comprehension of systems we require in the leadership of the United States! Marianne is every human’s advocate because she helps all, prisoners, the sick, the hungry, and leaders hire her for advice in their companies!” – Dr. Sarah Larsen

DEPARTMENT OF PEACE
Imagine a department of peace and please advocate a cabinet-level Department of Peace!
The proposed department, which would have to be created by an act of Congress, would “work actively and interactively with every branch of government on policy matters related to both international and domestic peace issues.”
“It’s ironic to me that George Bush’s Secretary of Defense, Donald Rumsfeld, said, ‘We must learn to wage peace,'” Williamson said in an interview with the Register at her residence.
“Expertise in peacebuilding is just as sophisticated and important as expertise in military action,” Williamson said. “I have great respect for the military. My father fought in World War II. I see the military much like one would look at a surgeon. Obviously, the United States needs to have the best surgeons in the world, but everyone knows you only have surgery if you absolutely must.”
Williamson’s Department of Peace would also establish a “Peace Academy,” which she would model after military academies.
The academy would provide a four-year concentration in “peace education.” Graduates would be required to serve for five years in public service programs dedicated to domestic or international nonviolent conflict resolution, according to her plan.
Split between domestic and international duties, the department would be overseen by the Secretary of Peace, who would serve as a member of the National Security Council and coordinate with other members of the cabinet.
“Right now,” Williamson said, “our national security agenda could be likened to someone who doesn’t take care of their diet, doesn’t take that much care of exercise, doesn’t take much care of lifestyle, in terms of health, and just waits for when the inevitable sickness arises and hopes that a doctor can eradicate or suppress the symptoms of their sickness.” (From: https://www.desmoinesregister.com/story/news/elections/presidential/caucus/2019/08/19/marianne-williamson-unveils-department-peace-plan-includes-peace-academy-proposal-2020-elections/2049803001/)

Rumi Quotes
The minute I heard my first love story, I started looking for you, not knowing how blind that was. Lovers don’t finally meet somewhere. They’re in each other all along.
Your body already knows how to eliminate the fears that control your life, replace anger and confusion with peace and confidence, and become a more loving, understanding, and happy spouse, dating partner, parent, family member, co-worker, boss, and friend.
——————————————————-
When you precisely understand the nature of you and your absolute self, you become both…. “emptiness” and “presence.”
You understand how emptiness appears in manifestation.
Your emptiness is simply the insubstantiality, the nonbeing, of manifest forms.
In areas you are empty you are “nonbeing”. It is what makes the absolute you so light, so empty, so spacious, and open.
I want you to have this in your love ability! In every one of your relationships, this is possible! …………………………………………………………
Consider the story of Gautam Buddha!
Like me, is your question about the Buddha’s wife and son that he left behind?
Vikram Bhattacharya touched my heart with that part of the story —————He left her in the middle of the night, the night their son was born. When she heard the news she was devastated. Yet, she did not complain but her life lost all meaning. The only reason for her to live now was her son. She wanted him to grow up to be a man that the world would look up to. Her friends and relatives came around and asked her to forget about the man who had left her and start life again. They asked her to marry again but she refused. She was young & beautiful & suitors queued up outside her door, but she refused each one of them. Then one fine day he came back! He stood in front of her and she could hardly remember him as the man who had left her. “They call you the Buddha now?” she asked him gently.“I hear they do,” he answered in a calm fashion.“What does it mean?” she further inquired.“I think it means the enlightened one, a knower,” he informed. She smiled and then silence.
“I suppose we have both learned something. Your lessons O Buddha will make the world richer in spirit, but my lesson will, unfortunately, remain largely unknown.” she reflected deeply….“ And what lesson is that? ” The Buddha probed. Her eyes sparkled with unshed tears, “That a courageous woman does not need anyone to complete her….. SHE IS COMPLETE ON HER OWN ”
Saluting womanhood for the Yashodhara spirit. !!!

Don’t lose another moment in suffering or being out of your dharma!
Dharma means the eternal and inherent nature of reality, regarded in Hinduism as a cosmic law underlying right behavior and social order.
(In Buddhism) the nature of reality regarded as a universal truth taught by the Buddha; the teaching of Buddhism. an aspect of truth or reality. “all dharmas are forms of emptiness”
So let’s just move on to some of my favorite tips from Mahatma Gandhi.
1. Change yourself. “You must be the change you want to see in the world.” “As human beings, our greatness lies not so much in being able to remake the world – that is the myth of the atomic age – as in being able to remake ourselves.” If you change yourself you will change your world. If you change how you think then you will change how you feel and what actions you take. And so the world around you will change. Not only because you are now viewing your environment through new lenses of thoughts and emotions but also because the change within can allow you to take action in ways you wouldn’t have – or maybe even have thought about – while stuck in your old thought patterns. And the problem with changing your outer world without changing yourself is that you will still be you when you reach that change you have strived for.
You will still have your flaws, anger, laziness, negativity, self-sabotaging tendencies etc. intact.
And so in this new situation, you will still not find what you hoped for since your mind is still seeping with that negative stuff. And if you get more without having some insight into and distance from your ego it may grow more powerful. Since your ego loves to divide things, to find enemies, and to create separation it may start to try to create even more problems and conflicts in your life and world.
2. You are in control. “Nobody can hurt me without my permission.” What you feel and how you react to something is always up to you. There may be a “normal” or a common way to react to different things. But that’s mostly just all it is. You can choose your own thoughts, reactions, and emotions to pretty much everything.
You don’t have to overthink, freak out, the worry or even react in a negative way.
Perhaps not every time or instantly. Sometimes a knee-jerk reaction just goes off. Or an old thought habit kicks in. And as you realize that no-one outside of yourself can actually control how you feel you can start to incorporate this thinking into your daily life and develop it as a thought habit. A habit that you can grow stronger and stronger over time. Doing this makes life a whole lot easier and more pleasurable.
3. Forgive and let it go.
“The weak can never forgive. Forgiveness is the attribute of the strong.” “An eye for eye only ends up making the whole world blind.” ~Gandhi said that!
Fighting evil with evil won’t help anyone. And as said in the previous tip, you always choose how to react to something. When you can incorporate such a thought habit more and more into your life then you can react in a way that is more useful to you and others. You realize that forgiving and letting go of the past will do you and the people in your world a great service. And spending your time in some negative memory won’t help you after you have learned the lessons you can learn from that experience. You’ll probably just cause yourself more suffering and paralyze yourself from taking action in this present moment. If you don’t forgive then you let the past and another person to control how you feel. By forgiving you release yourself from those bonds. And then you can focus totally on, for instance, the next point.
4. Without action you aren’t going anywhere.
“An ounce of practice is worth more than tons of preaching.” Without taking action very little will be done. However, taking action can be hard and difficult. There can be much inner resistance. And so you may resort to preaching, as Gandhi says. Or reading and studying endlessly. And feeling like you are moving forward. But getting little or no practical results in real life. So, to really get where you want to go and to really understand yourself and your world you need to practice. Books can mostly just bring you knowledge.
You have to take action and translate that knowledge into results and understanding. Move on to the next point for more on the best tip for taking more action that I have found so far.
5. Take care of this moment. “I do not want to foresee the future. I am concerned with taking care of the present. God has given me no control over the moment following.” The best way that I have found to overcome the inner resistance that often stops us from taking action is to stay in the present as much as possible and to be accepting. Why? Well, when you are in the present moment you don’t worry about the next moment that you can’t control anyway. And the resistance to action that comes from you imagining negative future consequences – or reflecting on past failures – of your actions loses its power. And so it becomes easier to both take action and to keep your focus on this moment and perform better. Have a look at 8 Ways to Return to the Present Moment for tips on how quickly step into the now. And remember that reconnecting with and staying in the now is a mental habit – a sort of muscle – that you grow. Over time it becomes more powerful and makes it easier to slip into the present moment.
6. Everyone is human. “I claim to be a simple individual liable to err like any other fellow mortal. I own, however, that I have humility enough to confess my errors and to retrace my steps.” “It is unwise to be too sure of one’s own wisdom. It is healthy to be reminded that the strongest might weaken and the wisest might err.”
When you start to make myths out of people – even though they may have produced extraordinary results – you run the risk of becoming disconnected from them. You can start to feel self-doubt and like you could never achieve similar things that they did because they are so very different. So it’s important to keep in mind that everyone is just a human being no matter who they are. And I think it’s important to remember that we are all human and prone to make mistakes. Holding people to unreasonable standards will only create more unnecessary conflicts in your world and negativity within you. It’s also important to remember this to avoid falling into the pretty useless habit of beating yourself up over mistakes that you have made. And instead be able to see with clarity where you went wrong and what you can learn from your mistake. And then try again.
7. Persist.
“First they ignore you, then they laugh at you, then they fight you, then you win.” Be persistent. In time the opposition around you will fade and fall away. And your inner resistance and self-sabotaging tendencies that want to hold you back and keep you like you have always been will grow weaker. Find what you really like to do. Then it will be easier to stay positive and you’ll find the inner motivation to keep going, going and going. You can also find a lot of useful tips on how keep your motivation up in 27 Simple Ways to Motivate Yourself.
One reason Gandhi was so successful with his method of non-violence was because he and his followers were so persistent. They just didn’t give up. Success or victory will seldom come as quickly as you would have liked it to. I think one of the reasons people don’t get what they want is simply because they give up too soon. The time they think an achievement will require isn’t the same amount of time it usually takes to achieve that goal. This faulty belief partly comes from the world we live in. A world full of magic pill solutions where advertising continually promises us that we can lose a lot of weight or earn a ton of money in just 30 days. Finally, one useful tip to keep your persistence going is to listen to Gandhi’s third quote in this article and keep a sense of humor. It can lighten things up at the toughest of times.
8. See the good in people and help them.
“I look only to the good qualities of men. Not being faultless myself, I won’t presume to probe into the faults of others.”
“Man becomes great exactly in the degree in which he works for the welfare of his fellow-men.” “I suppose leadership at one time meant muscles; but today it means getting along with people.” There is pretty much always something good in people. And things that may not be so good. But you can choose what things to focus on. And if you want improvement then focusing on the good in people is a useful choice. It also makes life easier for you as your world and relationships become more pleasant and positive. And when you see the good in people it becomes easier to motivate yourself to be of service to them. By being of service to other people, by giving them value you not only make their lives better.
Over time you tend to get what you give. And the people you help may feel more inclined to help other people. And so you, together, create an upward spiral of positive change that grows and becomes stronger. Nowadays it’s easier than ever to help people out and to start such a spiral. You can do via social media, a podcast, a channel on Youtube or you can start a blog like I did. Another tip is to strengthen your social skills. By doing you can become a more influential person and make the upward spiral I mentioned even stronger. Move on to the next tip for more on that.
9. Be congruent, be authentic, be your true self. “Happiness is when what you think, what you say, and what you do are in harmony.” “Always aim at complete harmony of thought and word and deed. Always aim at purifying your thoughts and everything will be well.” I think that one of the best tips for improving your social skills is to behave in a congruent manner and communicate in an authentic way. People seem to really like authentic communication. And there is much inner enjoyment to be found when your thoughts, words and actions are aligned. You feel powerful and good about yourself. When words and thoughts are aligned then that shows through in your communication. Because now you have your voice tonality and body language – some say they are over 90 percent of communication – in alignment with your words. With these channels in alignment people tend to really listen to what you’re saying. You are communicating without incongruency, mixed messages or perhaps a sort of phoniness.
Also, if your actions aren’t in alignment with what you’re communicating then you start to hurt your own belief in what you can do. And other people’s belief in you too.
10. Continue to grow and evolve. “Constant development is the law of life, and a man who always tries to maintain his dogmas in order to appear consistent drives himself into a false position.” You can pretty much always improve your skills, habits or re-evaluate your evaluations. You can gain deeper understanding of yourself and the world. Sure, you may look inconsistent or like you don’t know what you are doing from time to time. You may have trouble to act congruently or to communicate authentically But if you don’t then you will, as Gandhi says, drive yourself into a false position. A place where you try to uphold or cling to your old views to appear consistent while you realize within that something is wrong. It’s not a fun place to be. To choose to grow and evolve is a happier and more useful path to take.
Glossary of Spiritual Wisdom
When you precisely understand the nature of the absolute, the paradoxical co-emergence of emptiness and presence, you understand how emptiness appears in manifestation.
Emptiness is simply the insubstantiality, the nonbeing, of manifest forms.
This nonbeing is what makes the absolute so light, so empty, so spacious, and open.
You begin to see that this absence appears at more superficial ontological dimensions as the experience of inner space, with its various degrees of subtlety.
Since it is nothing at all, it appears as the total openness for anything to arise and as the allowing necessary for anything to be.
Such openness and allowingness are the properties of empty space, which we experience inwardly as inner spaciousness and openness, and outwardly as the space where all manifestation occurs.
In other words, space is the reflection of nonbeing in manifestation. Because we do not understand the paradoxical nature of true nature, as a co-emergence of being and nonbeing, you conceptualize nonbeing as space and being as manifesting forms.
Just as our ignorance of the timeless flow and unfoldment of the logos leads to our conceptualizing time to account for the changes brought about by this unfoldment, our ignorance of the spaceless non beingness of true nature leads to our conceptualizing space to account for the accommodating openness made possible by the emptiness of the absolute.

Letting Go of someone was (Used to be) hard for me! I am different. I cry deeply at sad movies and watching insects mate. BEAUTIFUL EXPERIENCES! I used to not want to be that way…. Being an empath. Being so moved and touched by everything. I was embarrassed. .. I was shamed for obsessing!
I love with my whole heart! I attach. Today, these traits I am grateful for but I wasn’t always grateful.
I used to self-loath not knowing I was behaving in a self-loathing manor trying to wake myself up to —- who I was being from moment to moment.
I wasn’t being my true nature, I was being my beliefs!
No, I used to think differently and because I went against my own nature I had dis-ease,,,an eating disorder, a sleeping disorder…ug destructive coping mechanisms!

If you yourself don’t choose what thoughts and images you expose yourself to, someone else will.” — Epictetus
Similarly,
“If you don’t prioritize your life, someone else will.” — Greg McKeown
Or even still,
“If you don’t design your own life plan, chances are you’ll fall into someone else’s plan. And guess what they have planned for you? Not much.” — Jim Rohn
This theme repeats for good reason.
To wander through life aimlessly is easy. Many of us want a better life but few are willing to do what is necessary to create a better life. A purposeful life requires hard work, thinking, planning, and persistence.
The only person that can figure out what you want in life is you. You must determine what your values, dreams, and ambitions are. It can feel like a daunting task, but as soon as you identify those, you can create a plan to achieve them. Otherwise, you will go through life erratically.
You will fall victim to what Viktor Frankl referred to as the existential vacuum. With no instinct to follow, you will either conform to what others do or fall prey to totalitarianism by doing what others tell you to do. Both options result in anguish and a general life malaise.
“What if we stopped celebrating being busy as a measurement of importance? What if instead we celebrated how much time we had spent listening, pondering, meditating, and enjoying time with the most important people in our lives?” — Greg McKeown
We live in a society that glorifies a busy life, because being busy must correlate to productivity and a sense of purpose, right? Wrong.
When asked how we are doing we routinely respond with “busy”.
Busy is B.S.. It’s a lazy answer. It’s also a sure way to look back after a decade and wonder what the hell happened. You’ll be left wondering, “What did I accomplish?”
Do you hide from your problems, by distracting yourself with a beehive of activity? Are you running away from your anxiety and angst? Perhaps that’s because you are unwilling to confront your problems. Your solution to your problems is to stuff them down deep inside to a place where you don’t have to deal with them. Unfortunately, these pesky feelings eventually rear their ugly heads.
What you must do is slow down, think, and find solitude. For in solitude you finally allow yourself to confront your problems and face them head-on. The only way to get rid of that sense of anxiety and worry is to stop and think. You must eliminate the non-essential activities in your life to open the door to the essential activities that will give you true purpose, clarity, and meaning.
“Whether You Believe You Can Do a Thing or Not, You Are Right” — Henry Ford
The origins of this quote are a bit murky but the lesson in it is still relevant.
The mind is an incredible tool, but like a muscle, it must be honed, shaped, and sculpted, otherwise, it will wither away and hold you back.
When you successfully train your mind it can be the greatest asset in propelling you forward in life.
There’s a great story about the power of a positive mindset from president Franklin Roosevelt.
At the age of 39, he contracted polio, a debilitating disease that leaves one paralyzed throughout the body. Many thought this would crush his spirits and likely be the end of his career. Roosevelt thought otherwise.
In the depressing surroundings of his hospital bed and surrounded by a melancholy group of family and friends, Roosevelt made it a point to put on a bright and cheery disposition. Whether this was for the betterment of the people he cared for or for his own sake did not matter, the effect was noticeable.
By pretending to be happy and cheerful he began to feel better. By acting happy, he did what a happy person would do. By acting happy he actually became happy.
The disease may have robbed him of the use of his legs but it would not rob him of his ability to think for himself or to choose how he felt.
With this attitude, he made a miraculous, albeit incredibly difficult recovery. With incredible determination, he built his way back into the public arena, despite never regaining use of his legs. Roosevelt bravely overcame his fears of being embarrassed by his disease in front of millions of people in the public arena.
He bravely forged ahead and became one of the strongest presidents of the United States in two of the most trying times in its history, the Great Depression and the Second World War.
The man that had to rebuild his own body, helped to rebuild the body of the United States after two debilitating blows. He never would have been able to do any of this had he not believed in the power for anyone and everyone to change and recover from their worst nightmares.
“If it is to be, it’s up to me.” — Coach George Raveling
If you want anything in life, it’s up to you. No outside force is strong enough to push you into what you want. You must be responsible for securing it.
What do you wish to happen in your life? Are you realizing your greatest dreams or are you falling short?
When you fall short, do you blame others and external circumstances, or are you willing to look into the mirror and figure out why things are unfolding as they are?
When you look inward, you analyze your decisions, your reactions, your attitude in life that are holding you back. Through analysis, you can create solutions to your problems. By holding yourself accountable and being responsible, you stop finding excuses and start finding solutions. That is where the glory in life lives.
“Does your mind have control over you or are you going to have control of your mind?” — Olympic silver medalist Galen Rupp
Most people’s minds are a wild, unruly beast running wildly from one thing to the next, at the mercy of their emotions, fears, and habitual patterns.
When times get tough will you allow your emotions to overrun you and make horrible decisions? Will you resort to self-sabotaging behaviors or will you work to recognize these pitfalls and overcome them?
The world’s best athletes aren’t the best because they are leaps and bounds more athletically gifted than their competition. At the highest level of competition, everyone is an incredible athlete. What separates the average from the great athlete is the time spent training their minds.
They confront their greatest fears. They become a student of their behaviors, routines, and rituals. They learn what is holding them back, nearly always it’s mental.
From there they train their minds, they reshape it and take back control of a reckless mind. Rather than being their greatest weakness they turn it into their greatest advantage. Able and willing to overcome life’s hardest and most challenging problems.
“Success is a double-edged sword. You want to shadow box with it but you don’t want to embrace it or dance too close.” — Robert Redford
Success is addicting but it also has a nasty side effect, it instills fear. Fear of loss and the fear of failure. Success is a lousy teacher.
When you achieve a certain level your mind slowly shifts away from seeking greater heights to holding onto what you have. You can’t imagine sliding back to where you once were. That is a dangerous mindset. You switch from growing to protecting.
What enabled your greatest success was the lack of fear, the lack of care in what the outcome was. Your lack of expectations.
Look at some of your favorite musicians, artists, or authors. Ever notice how after they have a hit record or book they suddenly plateau? Their music becomes safe and eventually, you can’t tell one song from the other.
Their past success becomes a prison. They can’t imagine straying from the “winning formula”.
The problem is, the winning formula is ever changing. The only constant in life is change, so if you aren’t changing, you’re falling behind.
What got you to where you are currently in life isn’t what’s going to get you to the next level. The next level requires a new person and a new approach. The only thing that can and will do that is to constantly challenge yourself and your assumptions.
You have to constantly reinvent yourself if you wish to go farther.
“Why is this so unbearable? Why can’t I endure it?” You’ll be embarrassed to answer.” — Marcus Aurelius
What is happening to you in your life is merely a matter of perspective and perception.
When you gain perspective, you realize what you are going through is not unique. Other people have been there before or have had it worse. Misery may love company, but if you find the company that has overcome that misery, then there’s a light at the end of the tunnel for you. The path is there.
Furthermore, stoics teach what happens in life is out of your control. The only thing you can control is how you react to events as they unfold. As Epictetus said, “We cannot choose our external circumstances, but we can always choose how we respond to them.”
This line of thinking is liberating. Rather than spending costly time and energy trying to control what you cannot, redirect your energies to what you can…yourself. Your actions. Your perceptions of an event.
When something goes horribly wrong in your life, the question isn’t “why is this happening to me”, it must be “why is this happening for me?” What can you learn from even the worst experiences?
The people that survive and thrive are the ones that find purpose and meaning in what has happened in life.
“If it’s normal, do the exact opposite” — Jesse Cole, owner of the Savannah Bananas baseball team
Like a high-schooler desperately seeking validation from our peers, many of us set out to do exactly what others have done before us.
We are too afraid to actually do the “crazy things” we wish to do.
The result: a restless life. Constant judging of our current lot in life and a constant second-guessing of ourselves.
Jesse Cole, the crazy man in the yellow tux and owner of the Savannah Bananas baseball team has made a career out of being different. In fact, it’s precisely what has made him outrageously successful. Hell, he named his team the Bananas! Who does that?
In a sport that has plateaued in terms of growth and popularity, Jesse has brought back the fun and excitement to baseball.
The game of baseball is mired in tradition. Anybody that wishes to step outside the norm is immediately ridiculed and cast out of the baseball inner circle.
By questioning all the norms, by not being afraid to look like a fool, Jesse has created a baseball program in Savannah, Georgia that sells out every single game! The best part is, this isn’t even a professional baseball team. Quite the contrary, it’s a college summer league team. It’s about as low on the pecking order in terms of most watched and followed baseball.
I could try and describe the showmanship and antics that go on in this stadium but why do that when you can see for yourself.
Elon Musk is one of the biggest names in the world today and he deserves to be. He is the founder of Tesla (an electric automobile organization) and SpaceX (a space exploration organization). Elon Musk is a real visionary who just wants to work for changing the world. He even released the patent of electric vehicles that he had for Tesla cars and said that anyone can use this technology.
Elon Musk is an inspiration for a lot of people (including me) and knows how to motivate people with the things he does and says. He is a highly quotable man and his quotes can get you in the mood to work your butt off.
“When something is important enough, you do it even if the odds are not in your favor”
If doing or accomplishing something is very important to you, you’ll do it no matter what. Even if the odds are against you, you’ll give it your all and the only thing on your mind would be accomplishing that goal. If we start considering everything as important as that goal, nothing and no one will be able to stop us.
“If you get up in the morning and think the future is going to be better, it is a bright day. Otherwise, it’s not”
Whenever someone says that they are having a bad day, it means that they woke up in a bad mood or with a negative thought in their mind. If we wake up thinking that today will be a great day, nothing can stop us from being happy and optimistic.
“Persistence is very important. You should not give up unless you are forced to give up”
If you make up your mind about something and you want to achieve it no matter what, you have to keep working for it. Quitting or giving up is not an option unless something or someone forces you to. Even then, give it all you’ve got and keep fighting to achieve your goals. Persistence is one of the biggest parts of success.
“It’s OK to have your eggs in one basket as long as you control what happens to that basket”
Whatever you want to do in your life is your choice and it’s up to you to keep everything in order. Gather all the assets (ideas) you need and it’s ok to stack them up in one place (your mind). You just need to make sure you don’t create a mess (get confused). Just remember what your goal is and where every asset (idea) comes into play.
“If you go back a few hundred years, what we take for granted today would seem like magic-being able to talk to people over long distances, to transmit images, flying, accessing vast amounts of data like an oracle. These are all things that would have been considered magic a few hundred years ago”
This one is considerably long and the meaning is even deeper. Elon Musk wants to imply that nothing is impossible. By saying ‘magic’, he refers to the things that are considered as impossible. He gives the example of the past where many things that we do today would be considered as magic. So, anything we consider as impossible or magic is something that is actually possible and is just waiting for us to make that happen.
“We’re going to make it happen. As God is my bloody witness, I’m hell-bent on making it work”
This is nothing but sheer motivation and determination. We should be confident in whatever we believe in or want to do. Just start implementing your ideas and the rest of the work will be done with the help of your sheer determination and undying spirit.
“I think it is possible for ordinary people to choose to be extraordinary”
This quote teaches us not to be limited to boundaries or other limitations or any limitations of any kind. Being ordinary and extraordinary are both your choice. Even if you are an ordinary human being, you can choose to be extraordinary. All you need is an idea and a little bit of motivation.
“I could either watch it happen or be a part of it”
Elon Musk wants to imply that it’s our choice to either be an audience or a part of the show. If you’re not going to implement your idea, someone else will have the same idea and implement it. Then, you’ll just be able to witness your original idea being implemented by someone else. So, just do what you need to in order to achieve your goals before someone else makes your goal their own.
Are you catching the Modern fascination with medical intuition?
What is Medical Intuition?
It is the ability to make a diagnosis without history, physical examination or laboratory studies.
Modern Medical Intuition in the western world can be traced back to Edgar Cayce, “the Sleeping Prophet of Virginia Beach.” The case reports from Cayce are compelling as he did over 8,000 readings about physical ailments before his death in 1945, many of which have confirmation of accuracy.
Edgar Cayce because of his research, expert documentation and team demonstrate medical intuition working is possible!
Edgar Cayce in the 1920s and 1930s
Before traditional medicine began examining the impact the mind has on physical health, America’s “sleeping prophet”, Edgar Cayce, was laying the groundwork for one of the most fascinating truths presented in the twentieth century: What one thinks and feels emotionally will find expression in the physical body. Mental patterns can have a direct impact upon good physical health or disease. The mind, Cayce asserted, is a powerful tool in creating health and wellness.
Nearly seventy percent of the more than 14,000 psychic readings Cayce gave are concerned with the diagnosing of disease and the outlining of treatment. These readings are still being studied in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Many people who came to Cayce in the early part of the twentieth century came to him as a last resort: most had been diagnosed as “incurable”, not only by private physicians, but by renowned medical institutions around the U.S. While Cayce himself had no medical training or education, when he entered a self-induced altered state, his unconscious mind seemed to tap an endless reservoir of helpful physical information. He could accurately diagnose illness and prescribe treatment for people he had never met or seen.
Edgar Cayce’s ability showed up while he was in a trance state. His ability to peer into the past with uncanny psychic accuracy was demonstrated repeatedly. This type of information is called “retrocognition” and the Cayce readings attest to the variety of material available in this manner: previous happenings in an individual’s life, including accidents or forgotten traumas; as well as ancient history, including the geological evolution of the planet and details of tribes and civilizations that predate recorded history.
For example, more than eleven years before the Dead Sea Scrolls were found in 1947, Edgar Cayce provided a great deal of information on a Jewish sect called the Essenes. Cayce claimed that in the Essene society men and women lived and worked together. Scholars, however, believed that the Essenes were a monastic society composed exclusively of men. It was not until archaeological excavations occurred after Cayce’s death that his psychic information was verified.
Through the use of retrocognition, the Cayce readings provide a wealth of insights into the ancient world. More than simply discussing hidden archeological sites and uncovered records of forgotten civilizations, Edgar Cayce claimed that the history of humankind went back some ten million years! Although much of this material may be impossible to verify, sometimes contemporary research has uncovered evidence to confirm information given in Cayce’s trance state.
However, despite an abundance of encouraging anecdotes that continue to accumulate to the present day from a growing number of medical intuitives, the scant scientific research to date is inconclusive.
ONLY 4 Studies have been done on Medical Intuitives in the last 25 years!
There have been only four studies in the medical literature in the past 25 years which have attempted to investigate this mysterious phenomenon. The first two looked at the general ability of intuitives to make a diagnosis for a variety of medical conditions.
The first two looked at the general ability of intuitive to make a diagnosis for a variety of medical conditions. One was a qualitative study that had some promising positive results, and the second was a quantitative study that showed a disappointing maximum 14% accuracy. The other two studies looked at specific medical conditions compared to conventional tests. One investigating the ability to determine fertility status showed negative results, and the second looking at low back pain and sciatica demonstrated 54% correlation with MRI scan findings.
The low back pain study is of particular interest as it was done by a leading integrative medicine physician, Steve Amoils, MD, and a top MRI radiologist, Stephen Pomeranz, MD, and one of the two intuitive subjects was Rosalyn Bruyere, DD, an internationally known healer. Their conclusion from the study was that “the practitioners correctly identified disk pathology and pain patterns in a significant number of patients.” Rev. Bruyere will be a keynoter at the Association for Comprehensive Energy Psychology annual conference in San Antonio, TX, where I will be co-presenting a preconference workshop on Messages from the Body: Accessing Somatic Consciousness for Healing.
There are a few physicians who are medical intuitives also, combining their conventional skills with their intuitive abilities. Judith Orloff, MD, is a psychiatrist who suppressed her empathic gifts during medical school only to reclaim them when she finished her residency. Psychiatrist/behavioral neuroscientist Mona Lisa Schulz, MD, PhD, has used her academic background to draw interesting correlations between the psychological literature and the chakras, making scientific sense of ancient teachings about the metaphysical energy centers of the body.
Famous Medical Intuitives:
Caroline Myss, PhD, who collaborates with one of my mentors, neurosurgeon Norm Shealy, MD, PhD.
Supplied with only the name and age of a young patient she was able to make an accurate diagnosis over the phone of a rare malignant bone tumor that I had detected on an MRI scan a few hours earlier.
Psychotherapist Winter Robinson, MEd, at the Society for Medical Decision Making annual conference where she led an experiential workshop on intuitive diagnosis.
Since all the healthcare professionals who attended were novices, it was remarkable that about half the participants obtained accurate diagnostic information about patients after being given just a name and location.

ADD and ADHD are one of many Neurological Disorders!
Attention Deficit Disorder and Attention Deficit HyperActivity Disorder
Neurological Disorders are hard to understand. What more, there are very few mainstream solutions or options for helping or treating some of them, especially the most misunderstood ones.
Comorbid with and Plenty of research has explored the workings behind anxiety, stress, and depression, for example. There have also been some developments on the fronts of cognition and memory.
But of all disorders related to the brain and nerves, ADHD today is still very poorly understood in comparison. It’s still very unclear what causes it, and it’s probably even more unclear how it could be supported or remedied in any way.
WHAT IS ADHD?
ADHD stands for Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder. The causes of ADHD are never the same with every case, with genetics and developments during pregnancy being the pinpointed causes today.
To determine if someone has it or not, behavior like distractedness, inattention, impulsive actions, and constant movement—even fidgeting—is quite noticeable, especially in children.
For some, this is just a natural part of personality. However, it becomes ADHD and an official disorder if these behaviors start to interfere with a child or person’s ability to function, develop, or succeed.
Issues like overlooking important details, difficulty listening, and general restlessness and hyperactivity are common. There can also be issues with forgetfulness, inability to finish tasks that are started, squirming, physical restlessness, and even intense talkativeness.
In children, hyperactivity is the most noticeable symptom, though the disorder can manifest in a whole variety of different ways. In adults, the symptoms usually become a little more subverted but can be noticeable all the same.
WHAT ARE THE MAINSTREAM THERAPIES AVAILABLE FOR ADHD?
It’s not certain what causes ADHD, nor is there much certainty over anything that can improve it or “cure” it. Thus far, there have been a few mainstream approaches that have been developed.
Stimulant medications. Pills like amphetamines, dextroamphetamines, and methylphenidates are commonly prescribed for people and children with ADHD. While stimulating someone with ADHD may be counter-intuitive, the medications actually work to help correct chemical imbalances in the brain.
Non-stimulant medications. There are also non-stimulant treatments available for ADHD. Anti-depressants number among these.
Therapy. Various types of psychotherapy help improve issues with ADHD. For children, this can include behavioral therapy. For adults, relationship therapy may be an important help for managing symptoms and not letting issues interfere with quality of life.
While therapy is especially essential for helping those who live lives with ADHD, use of medications can be difficult, as they may often create unwanted side effects.
And while there is also a lower risk of addiction or dependency, on the other hand, these are risks to these medications as well—and it can be a frustrating path for those looking for as many options as possible.
Solutions that address the cause:
? Meditate Thinking clearly is the best way to destress during a difficult time. Meditation teaches you how to focus, shut out distractions, and improve memory.
? Rest Getting a good amount of sleep is one of the best ways to help improve your mental clarity. During sleep, your brain stores information and memories that is needed to function the next day.
Benefits of Astragalus -For All people because of it’s effect on DNA and reproduction occurring in every cell!
? Boost Immunity For thousands of years, the astragalus root has been used to protect the immune system, from health-risking attacks. The herb contains natural antibiotic properties, that keep the body from being harmed by viral infections.
? Reduces Stress When not treated, chronic stress and anxiety can be very dangerous. Individuals suffering from mood swings or nervous tension should try astragalus to help balance hormone levels.
? Allergy Relief Every spring season millions of people suffer from allergies. The astragalus root, is known for reducing your allergic reactions. Chemical components found in the herb prevent the release of histamines, which can cause symptoms like runny nose and itchy eyes.

Bach Flowers for ADD / ADHD – Focusing, Attention and Concentration: Chestnut Bud, Clematis, White Chestnut
The following Bach flower remedies can help up with beeing inattentive or dreamy, if we have difficulties concentrating, staying on track and procrastinating and losing things, forgetting dates, … These flowers have to do with the issue of not being present with your mind at the moment, but somewhere else.
Wow, these themes are no way referring to any of us ADDers, huh? No problem at all LOL
WHITE CHESTNUT
English: Chestnut flower (Photo credit: Wikipedia) Jonathan Billinger
Busy mind full of thoughts
repetitive thoughts
repetitivesorrows and worries in the mind
worries or fears always “ramble” in the mind
to-do-list doesn`t stop in the mind
ongoing conversations in the mind about discussions and talks you had with others ( “I should have said this and that” )
thoughts are like skipping on a vinyl record ( and banging the head wouldn`t help to stop the thoughts like you would do it with a record player )
White Chestnut helps us to stop the thoughts that are not important right now and bother us. Therefore we can concentrate on what is important now. Also helps us to stop thinking about things that already happened and we cannot change anymore. Even if we think a lot about what we should have done or said – it happened, we cannot change it, so now let go and relax.
helps if falling asleep is difficult because your mind is busy with thinking or worrying
CLEMATIS
Clematis (c) TheFemmeADDon
Inattentive/dreamy/wandering mind and the person/ drifting off into thoughts and daydreams
daydreaming about the future, about a fantastic world, living in phantasies, living in “another world”
not being here & now with the thoughts, but in an imaginative and better elsewhere
not being in the present, not really here
also when procrastinating by playing games/surfing the web / staring at the wall
also when always forgetting things, dates, meetings, losing things because of inattentiveness and beeing dreamy
not staying on track with what you actually started
helps to concentrate & focusing and paying attention to the present
always making the same mistakesand not learning from experiences
unable to change a repetitive situation/ do something different next time
always being late, always forgetting things because they are always not in a place you would find them, even if you know better
also starting again a relationship with a partner of the same character like the one/ the others before, even if that kind of person does not match with you well
also looking again for the same kind of job you had before, even if it wasn’t good for you
procrastinating, always doing things in the last minute
not being in the present, you are always one step ahead of time
Also after leaving the house, running back to check if you really shut down electrical appliances, the stove, the iron, the computer, etc. – this behavior maybe also start to become neurotic, like you always have to get back and check
may help with learning difficulties
Differences:
Clematis and Chestnut Bud may seem somehow similar, especially when it comes to procrastination and forgetting things. The main theme of Chestnud Bud is making the same mistakes and not being able to change something, not being able to learn from experiences and change a situation. Maybe you find yourself asking: Why did this happen again? Why do I always get into the same (shitty) situation?
Also, Chestnud Bud is more in the future, a step ahead of time, for example. you are leaving the house and your thoughts are already at the upcoming meeting, instead of you being in the present moment of leaving the house and do all the things and to check what is important now, now that you leave the house, like taking your keys, shutting down the iron, computer, etc.
Clematisis more of a daydreamer. Maybe you dream about a fantastic world, about how the future could be, maybe you can’t really remember where you were with your attention and thoughts. Maybe you get asked from friends ” hello, where are you? Are you still with us?” or you get feedback that you are somehow not much present, that they have the impression you are not interested in their conversations, etc.
If you are not sure, which Remedy to take, Clematis or Chestnud Bud, try first one Remedy for a while and then the other for a while. See if you recognize any change. Choose the one that helps you more. If both help you, you may need both of them.

DO NON-MEDICAL APPROACHES MAKE ANY DIFFERENCE?
For the loved ones of, parents of, and those diagnosed with ADHD and autism themselves, not knowing the causes of these disorders—or how to prevent them—may be frustrating.
A source of even more disappointment, solutions beyond therapy are scant, with many medications posing daunting side effects and dependency risks. This brings up the obvious question: are there any natural alternatives to the chemical mainstays in place?
Apparently yes, there are—in the realm of lifestyle changes that can be made by both those diagnosed, by their families as well, and the use of naturally-sourced remedies that research shows may reduce the severity of issues springing from autism or ADHD.
But keep in mind: while there is hopeful research, no single cause is responsible for any diagnosis of ADHD or autism; but rather, a delicate collection or network of causes that may be different with each case.
Furthermore, no single researched cause has been deemed a definite one for either ADHD or autism—there have only been correlations. More research is being undertaken to establish stronger connections.
And while these tips are separated into two separate categories for ADHD and autism, research is starting to show that there is quite a bit of crossover when it comes to what helps reduce the chances for either disorder from occurring, as both may have very similar underlying causes.
NATURAL LIFESTYLE TIPS FOR ADHD:
AVOIDING CERTAIN NUTRIENT EXCESSES
A review of natural complementary therapies for ADHD in 2011 found that too much of certain macronutrients—specifically carbohydrates—could be a risk factor for ADHD development in children, especially when accompanied with too little proteins and other nutrients.
While eating too much sugar and processed foods has not been proven to outright cause ADHD, studies do show that it may exacerbate or worsen issues.
Josh Axe, a leading health expert, says in his article on ADHD: “[Sugar] is the primary trigger for most children, and some adults with ADHD,” he says. Axe adds, “Some researchers and parents report worsening behavior when their child eats gluten, which may indicate sensitivity to the protein found in wheat.”
While gluten is a protein, it is found in products often considered simple and complex carbs, which may help to be avoided.
AVOIDING CERTAIN NUTRIENT DEFICIENCIES
The same study on ADHD in 2011 found that the disorder could be linked to specific nutrient deficiencies. Namely: proteins, healthy fats, zinc, magnesium, and glutathione, a body-synthesized antioxidant.
Proteins are a big one. Amino acids, components of protein, are needed to create neurotransmitters—and lack of certain neurotransmitters have been linked to in some people with ADHD. Healthy fats—particularly omega-3 fatty acids—are also important, since they are essential to the health of neurons as well as neurotransmitter receptors.
Then there are mineral deficiencies—zinc has an especially high connection to ADHD, as it is needed for dopamine metabolism to chemically counteract ADHD, though all minerals have a delicate interrelationship with one another for each to express itself fully.
Now more than ever, with incidences of ADHD and autism on the rise, it’s important for kids to get all their adequate nutrition, as kids are most vulnerable to these changes—whereas, into adulthood, it can be too late to turn things around.
AVOIDING ENVIRONMENTAL TOXINS
Studies have linked smoking and drinking during pregnancy to an increased risk of developing ADHD, which are discussed in this 2012 practitioner review. While these have been highlighted as very likely causes over the years (in combination with genetics), there’s quite possibly a whole lot more to toxins than that.
Functional medicine doctor and health expert Chris Kresser has this to say about environmental toxins and ADHD in his 2017 article: “Any kid who’s dealing with ADHD, I would test them for heavy metals. Particularly mercury, arsenic, lead, and cadmium,” he says.
Studies say that this also extends to pesticide exposure and even the consumption of artificial food colorings, each which have been linked to ADHD, as this review from 2011 outlines.
Each of these contaminants—from alcohol and nicotine to fake food coloring—have a way of interfering with neurotransmitters, which could in turn feed into the ADHD problem even more, though more research is needed.
WHAT NATURAL REMEDIES HOLD THE MOST PROMISE?
Is there anything that nature could provide in the realm of support, relief, and even minor therapy for ADHD?
A 2011 Alternative Medicine Review says yes when it comes to ADHD. Though more studies are needed, herbs like Rhodiola, valerian, and St. John’s wort could be helpful in dealing with some of the issues that stem from ADHD.
More studies are needed concerning herbs for autism too, though a 2016 HerbMed Pharmacology review found that botanicals like gingko, Gotu kola, and astragalus may have peripheral benefit.
But research has found the most promise in the following mushrooms and fungi, with lots more definite links to either their phytotherapeutic support for autism or ADHD—or both.
BACOPA MONNIERI
Bacopa has been a source of immense excitement in the world of herbal medicine research, with tons of studies connecting it to intriguing hopes for helping ADHD.
This includes a 2014 study on children with ADHD, which found that bacopa greatly helped with most hyperactivity and inattention symptoms, though it didn’t improve their social challenges.
Bacopa is also shown to be a neuroprotective brain tonic hailing from ancient Indian medicine, empirically seen to improve issues with cognition, memory, and mood. Some studies suggest (like this one in 2017) that it may thus be a helpful natural remedy for autism struggles with its anti-anxiety and general neuroprotective benefits.
LION’S MANE (HERICIUM ERINACEUS)
While no direct research has been established between these disorders and this medicinal fungus like it has been with bacopa, there is good scientific reason to believe that an odd mushroom, like lion’s mane, could nevertheless still be of some marginal help.
Studies have established some strong evidence that this fluffy-looking mushroom could be of benefit to symptoms relating to anxiety and depression, which may relate to both autism and ADHD. What more, lion’s mane is famous in research for its effects on focus, which may be of use for symptoms relating to ADHD especially.
CORDYCEPS (CORDYCEPS MILITARIS)
Research shows that second to lion’s mane, cordyceps is neuroprotective to the highest degree. No direct research has been undertaken to manifest a solid link between cordyceps and ADHD or autism, though the makings of a link are already clear.
After all, cordyceps touts strong anti-depressant potential, which could be an ally to those with autism; and it could also help sharpen focus to a razor edge, according to studies, which may benefit ADHD.
REISHI (GANODERMA LUCIDUM)
With its fungal brethren lion’s mane and cordyceps, reishi could also be supportive to both ADHD and autism. Some studies suggest it could have anti-depressant-like effects and neuroprotective activity that helps with focus.
HUPERZIA SERRATA
Huperzia, a Japanese moss, may as well be a nootropic fungi just like the mushrooms listed above. Studies suggest that it could help focus and cognition, a great indirect help to ADHD, though more direct studies for this will eventually be needed.
