Unveiling Mount Shasta’s Mystique: Klamath Indigenous Beliefs and Non-Native Lemurian Legends

1. Klamath Indigenous Beliefs about Mount Shasta

The Klamath people, a Native American tribe from the region now encompassing parts of southern Oregon and northern California, have a rich spiritual tradition tied to Mount Shasta, a prominent volcano in Northern California. According to their beliefs:

  • Spirit Chief Skell: Mount Shasta is considered a sacred place inhabited by Skell, a powerful spirit chief who descended from the heavens to reside at the mountain’s summit.
  • Conflict with Llao: Skell engaged in a mythological battle with Llao, the Spirit of the Below-World, who resided at Mount Mazama (the site of present-day Crater Lake, another volcanic area). The conflict involved Skell and Llao hurling hot rocks and lava at each other, which likely symbolizes the volcanic activity historically observed at both Mount Shasta and Mount Mazama.
  • Cultural Significance: This story reflects the Klamath people’s understanding of natural phenomena, such as volcanic eruptions, through a spiritual lens, integrating their environment into their cosmology. The narrative was documented by writer Joaquin Miller in the 1870s, who recorded various Klamath legends.

2. Non-Native American Legends: Lemuria and Telos

In addition to Indigenous beliefs, Mount Shasta has become a focal point for non-Native spiritual and esoteric legends, particularly those involving the mythical lost continent of Lemuria and a hidden city called Telos. Here’s a clearer explanation of these ideas:

  • Origins of the Lemuria Legend:
    • The concept of Lemuria first appeared in the 1880s, initially as a scientific hypothesis to explain biogeographical similarities between continents (later replaced by the theory of plate tectonics).
    • In 1899, Frederick Spencer Oliver published A Dweller on Two Planets, a book claiming that survivors of the sunken continent of Lemuria lived in a hidden city called Telos, located in a complex of tunnels beneath Mount Shasta. According to Oliver, these Lemurians were advanced beings who occasionally appeared on the mountain’s surface, dressed in white robes.
  • Rosicrucian Contribution:
    • In 1931, Harvey Spencer Lewis, writing under the pseudonym Wisar Spenle Cerve, published a book through the Rosicrucian Order that expanded on the idea of Lemurians living under Mount Shasta. This book popularized the notion of a hidden, spiritually advanced civilization tied to the mountain.
  • Telos and Lemurian Mythology:
    • Telos is described in these legends as an underground city of advanced, enlightened beings who escaped the destruction of Lemuria, a supposed ancient continent in the Pacific Ocean (similar to Atlantis in other mythologies).
    • The Lemurians are often depicted as possessing advanced technology or spiritual wisdom, and their alleged sightings in white robes have contributed to Mount Shasta’s mystique as a spiritual hub.

3. Spiritual Organizations Associated with Mount Shasta

Mount Shasta’s reputation as a mystical and spiritual site has attracted various New Age and esoteric groups, particularly in the 20th and 21st centuries. The organizations you mentioned are part of this phenomenon:

  • “I AM” Activity: Founded in the 1930s by Guy and Edna Ballard, this religious movement teaches that individuals can connect with their divine “I AM” presence. Mount Shasta is considered a sacred site for the group, partly due to Guy Ballard’s claim of meeting a spiritual being, Saint Germain, on the mountain.
  • The Summit Lighthouse: Founded by Mark and Elizabeth Clare Prophet, this organization promotes teachings from the Ascended Masters (enlightened beings). Mount Shasta is a significant location for their spiritual practices.
  • Church Universal and Triumphant: An offshoot of The Summit Lighthouse, also led by Elizabeth Clare Prophet, this group emphasizes esoteric Christianity and New Age beliefs, with Mount Shasta as a key spiritual center.
  • Kryon: Associated with channeler Lee Carroll, Kryon is a spiritual entity whose teachings focus on human evolution and consciousness. Mount Shasta is often referenced as a powerful energy vortex in Kryon’s teachings.

These groups view Mount Shasta as a place of spiritual power, often described as an “energy vortex” or a portal to higher dimensions, which aligns with the Lemurian and Telos legends.

4. Why Mount Shasta?

Mount Shasta’s prominence in both Indigenous and non-Native spiritual traditions can be attributed to several factors:

  • Geographical Significance: As a towering, isolated volcanic peak (14,179 feet), Mount Shasta is visually striking and naturally awe-inspiring, making it a focal point for spiritual reverence.
  • Volcanic History: Its geological activity (eruptions, hot springs, etc.) may have inspired stories of powerful forces, as seen in the Klamath tale of Skell and Llao.
  • Cultural Magnet: The mountain’s mystique, amplified by 19th- and 20th-century writings, has drawn spiritual seekers, leading to the proliferation of New Age beliefs and organizations.

5. Key Differences Between Indigenous and Non-Native Beliefs

  • Klamath Beliefs: Rooted in the tribe’s cultural and spiritual relationship with the land, these stories explain natural phenomena (like volcanic eruptions) and emphasize the sacredness of Mount Shasta within a traditional Indigenous worldview.
  • Non-Native Legends: The Lemurian and Telos myths stem from 19th-century esoteric and occult traditions, blending pseudoscience (Lemuria as a lost continent) with spiritual narratives. These stories are less about the land’s natural history and more about mystical or utopian ideals.

6. Modern Context

Today, Mount Shasta continues to attract spiritual seekers, tourists, and New Age practitioners. The town of Mount Shasta, California, is a hub for metaphysical shops, meditation retreats, and events tied to the mountain’s spiritual reputation. While the Klamath people’s stories remain a vital part of their cultural heritage, the non-Native legends have gained wider attention in popular culture, often overshadowing Indigenous perspectives.

Is Mt Shasta an Active Volcano?

Mount Shasta is a potentially active volcano at the southern end of the Cascade Range in Siskiyou County, California. At an elevation of 14,179 feet it is considered the root chakra of the world.

MT SHASTA & EARTH’S SURFACE CHAKRA PORTALS

By Daniel Divine

Mount Shasta, located in Northern California, USA is a destination for Mystics, Gurus, Sages and curious Awakening Souls from all over the world. Unexplained stories are endless. This enormous Mountain is endeared by all who come to visit or live near Her.

This dormant volcano is not part of any mountain range. She’s uniquely Her own Mountain in many ways. With a summit of 14,125 feet above sea level, Shasta is the 2nd highest peak in the Cascade Mountain range. Her slopes rise abruptly nearly 10,000 feet above the surrounding landscape.

Those who Live in Mount Shasta the small town located on the base of the mountain, will tell you stories of encounters with Lemurians from the hidden city of Telos beneath It, Saint Germain, and of ET landings. but by far they sense a certain special Feeling that comes with being in the Presence of Mount Shasta’s Vital Energy or Vortex.

Our ancient Ancestors knew a Vortex as a Gathering Place of the Earth’s Energy was Sacred. This special Mountain has such a Vortex. The ancient Vedic Culture, Ancestors of all humanity before the fall of Man, considered these Vortexes as Portals to a higher dimension of Consciousness.

If someone was near a Vortex, It activated and energized their etheric or energetic bodies making it possible for some to become aware of what mystics have discovered, that our Life is Multi-dimensional and Transdimensional. Mount Shasta as well as Sedona, Arizona, USA are Vortexes the average person is able to sense.

Our bodies mirror the Earth, in fact the entire Universe. The Earth experiences these Energy Centers as different levels of consciousness, and so do our own bodies.

10 Reasons to Visit Mt. Shasta

Aron Bosworth

Glistening Mount Shasta and it’s eponymous base camp of a town are just about as far away from a major West Coast city as you can get while still remaining on the I-5 corridor. That’s precisely part of what makes the Mount Shasta area so special; it’s far removed, yet it’s accessible. Given its location approximately halfway between San Francisco and Portland, most of Shasta’s visitors encounter the area as a quick pit stop or as a nice scene out the window during a northbound or southbound I-5 road trip. Well, we’re here to tell you that Mount Shasta should be a destination in it’s own right.

Situated less than 50 miles south of the Oregon border and dominating much of the far northern California skyline, 14,179-foot Mount Shasta is the second tallest volcanic peak in the Cascade Range and a stunning stand-alone peak to behold. The mountain encompasses a massive volume with a circumference of slopes that draw in an eclectic mix of climbers, skiers, artists and those with more spiritual inclinations. Reverberating outward from the mountain in all directions is a sea of volcanic buttes, sub-ranges, lakes and rivers that provide a diverse backdrop of outdoor venues and experiences, a backdrop nearly as grand as the mountain itself.

Suffice it to say Mount Shasta has a lot to offer. Here are 10 reasons we love visiting the Mount Shasta area, reasons we think you’ll fall in love with it, too:

  1. Yellow Butte: Providing one of the best views of Mount Shasta’s northern slopes, this 3-mile hike is seldom visited yet offers postcard worthy views and spectacular spring wildflowers.
  2. Black Butte: Adjacent to the town of Mount Shasta, Black Butte is a shapely volcanic plug dome lying to the west of the mountain and rising over 2,000 feet from base to summit. Hikers can climb switchbacks leading up the butte’s lava-scree laden slopes to incredible views of Mount Shasta, Mount Eddy and surroundings.
  3. McCloud River Three Falls: The spring-fed McCloud River and it’s three falls offer one of the most picturesque stretches of riverbank strolling anywhere. The river is accessible year round, but during the summer months Lower, Middle and Upper Falls each offer their own version of a unique swimming hole experience.
  4. Deadfall Lakes + Mount Eddy: Hike or backpack to Deadfall Lakes and on up to the tallest peak in the contiguous U.S. west of Interstate 5. At 9,026 feet, Mount Eddy is the high point on the Trinity Divide, affording one of the best views of the Trinity Alps and Mount Shasta. Views stretch from Lassen Peak to the southern Oregon Cascades.
  5. Heart Lake: This short hike above Castle Lake near Castle Crags gives much more than what it requires to get there: idyllic swimming and views over Castle Lake and Mount Shasta and stunning wildflowers in late spring and summer.
  6. Castle Crags Dome Hike: Rising above the Upper Sacramento River Valley is a seemingly out of place grouping of granite domes and spires one would expect to find at Yosemite known as Castle Crags. Hiking 2,000 feet above the river on the Crags Trail affords access to Castle Dome, which can be summited via a short scramble. More Shasta views await! Castle Crags is also an option for wintertime exploration.
  7. Burstarse Falls Hike: Tucked away behind Castle Crags along the Trinity Divide is a picturesque waterfall that is accessible year round known as Burstarse Falls. This 5-mile round-trip hike follows the Pacific Crest Trail to Lower Burstarse Falls. Take a short and cautious scramble on the east side of the creek to reach main Burstarse Falls.
  8. McArthur-Burney Falls Memorial State Park: Slightly off the beaten path from Mount Shasta, McArthur-Burney Falls is one of the most beautiful waterfalls to flow throughout California. Fed from an underground spring, the 129-foot falls so impressed President Theodore Roosevelt that he declared McArthur-Burney Falls the eighth wonder of the world. This is one waterfall not to be missed.
  9. Mount Shasta Climb, Avalanche Gulch:  Ever desired to stand on top of a 14,000-foot peak? Mount Shasta’s Avalanche Gulch route may offer the best non-technical bang for your buck. Starting at Bunny Flat on the mountain’s southern slopes, the route ascends a broad gully leading to Mount Shasta’s summit. Note this is still a physically demanding route requiring ice axes and crampons and gets crowded during peak climbing season (guides available).
  10. Mount Shasta, Hotlum-Wintun Ridge: Looking to escape the crowds? A more demanding spring route, but one that offers one of the best ski descents on the mountain, is found on Shasta’s north side. Upon summiting, ski 4,000 feet of sustained steeps down the Wintun Glacier for a combined 7,000-foot descent back to the car. Note that this is a remote side of the mountain where help is less available than in Avalanche Gulch.

The 7 Best Things to Do in Mount Shasta for a Weekend Trip

Mt Shasta is in Siskiyou County and to get around. If you want or need to rent a car, I recommend renting from Fox Rent-A-Car, Sixt, or Alamo. They all offer budget rentals and run regular deals and specials. If you’re not sure (or not loyal to any particular car rental company), consider using a tool like Momondo or TripAdvisor to compare a bunch of options (yes, TripAdvisor does rental cars!).

What are the Chakras of the World

From: Michael J Robey

Twelve Chakras Of Mother Earth

Every animate and inanimate object has chakras, and it is for the simple reason that everything that exists is energy! Just like we humans have chakras, inanimate objects, such as stone, crystals, cell phones and animate objects such as, living plants, insects, animals, humanoid, and celestial bodies (planets, solar and galaxies) have chakras.

This article is about the main seven chakras of Mother Earth, and which part of the world they are located in! One can give Reiki to Mother Earth (Gaia) either by just stating which chakra one want to give healing to or one can state the place where the chakras are located!

Why is it necessary to give healing to Mother Earth? It is because the main chakras of Mother Earth makes up for the spiritual body of the world! Below are listed the widely accepted geographical locations of the Mother Earth chakras.

1. Root (Mooladhara) Chakra – Mt. Shasta, California, North America Mt. Shasta is part of the Cascade Mountain Range which runs from Northern California into Oregon and all the way up to the Canadian border. Mt. Shasta is believed to be one of the most electrically charged mountains but the whole area is also buzzing with energy.

This area is believed to be the base of Mother Earth’s energy system. Mt. Shatsa, a potential active volcano, is considered as the Root (Base) chakra of Mother Earth.

It is said that the entire universal chi is gathered before it becomes life. Just like our Kundalini energy reaches our top chakras from our Root chakra, similarly all the energy comes out in form of geysers.

2. Sacral (Swadhistana) Chakra – Lake Titicaca Peru / Bolivia South America Lake Titicaca is a large, deep lake in the Andes on the border of Peru and Bolivia. By volume of water, it is the largest lake in South America. It corresponds to the Sexual Chakra of Mother Earth.

The Titicaca Stone is the geometrical center for the Solar Plexus Chakra of Mother Earth. The surrounding area of Machu Picchu, Cuzco and Iquitos are also believed to have a very high energy.

Two Ley lines intersect at Lake Titicaca, these include the Male Great Dragon Ley Line which runs from Mt. Shasta to Lake Titicaca and the Female Great Dragon Ley line.

In many South American myths found is the plumed serpent which represents the kundalini rising to the Sacral Chakra.

This center has second highest number of earth circuits. This is the chakra where our primal energy starts. It’s often said it is through this Chakra, Mother Earth overcomes entropy.

3. Solar Plexus (Manipura) Chakra – Uluru / Kata Tijuta, Northern Territory, Australia Uluru along with Kata Tjuta are known as Ayers Rock and this is where the Solar Plexus Chakra of Mother Earth resides. The two are considered as sister rock formations.

These areas are still considered sacred to the native Aboriginals today. The Female Great Dragon Ley Line connects both Lake Titicaca and Uluru.

The Solar Plexus is generally considered as the Chakra which helps us in digestion of emotions and situations, and as for our planet we shall one day realise the importance of the legend of the Aborigines who form the umbical chord of the planet.

As per the Aborigines the dreamtime legends have arised. Anaggu life revolves around Tjukrupa, this is the ancient times during which life was formed.

4. Heart (Anahata) Chakra – Glastonbury Somerset, Stonehenge Wiltshire, Shaftesbury Dorset England Stonehenge as well as the surrounding areas of Glastonbury, Somerset, Shaftesbury and Dorset all form the heart chakra of Mother Earth Stonehenge is a prehistoric monument in Wiltshire, England, two miles (3 km) west of Amesbury. It consists of a ring of standing stones, with each standing stone around 13 feet (4.0 m) high, seven feet (2.1 m) wide and weighing around 25 tons. The stones are set within earthworks in the middle of the most dense complex of Neolithic and Bronze Age monuments in England, including several hundred burial mounds

Where Stonehenge is constructed is the strongest point of all of this energy. And the Female Great Dragon Ley Line connects Uluru to Stonehenge. Glastonbury, Somerset England is not only famous for the concerts held there, the epicentre of the Pagan practice, the first Christian Abbey to be built in England and Glastonbury Tor, but it also corresponds to the Heart Chakra of Mother Earth.

Shaftesbury, Dorset is the site of the former Shaftesbury Abbey, which was founded in 888 by King Alfred and became one of the richest religious establishments in the country, before being destroyed in the Dissolution in 1539.

The whole area surrounding Stonehenge, Glastonbury and Shaftesbury are considered as one of the most holy places on this planet, and are one of the oldest inhabited places. Somerset is the hub for conference for crop circle researchers and meetings, as in the past decade due to strong magnetic anomalies the crop circles have become much more complex and extraordinarily beautiful. Its said that energies of this area is similar to that of Mt. Kailash in Tibet.

5. Throat (Vishuddha) Chakra – Giza, Mount Sinai and Mount Olives Jerusalem, (Middle East) The area where the Great Pyramids of Giza are present corresponds to Earth’s Throat Chakra. This Chakra is unique because it lies in the exact center of earth’s landmass.

The Throat Chakra is one of the largest energy centers of Mother Earth, which indicates its importance at this particular time in our history. It is also the only energy center that is not connected to the Male or Female Great Dragon Ley Line.

Some say this is the the capital of ancient civilizations of Atlantis, home to ancient wisdom, Ascended Masters, Gods and Goddesses. It is said that the issues which are now being faced in the Middle East is the physical manifestation of cries of Mother Earth, who is asking us to follow the divine white light of the universe.

There is a spiritual turmoil which has enveloped mankind and by listening to Mother and learn what she has to say about how to use the energies positively and in harmony, mankind can accomplish greater goods for themselves.

6. Third Eye (Ajna) Chakra – The Aeon Activation Center, mobile The Third Eye Chakra of Mother Earth does not have a specific point of existence, is the only one that moves, this is due to the the movement of Earth’s axis.. Each time the earth’s dimension changes or we enter a new age the position of the Chakra changes.

The Third Eye chakra moves every 150-200 years or every aeon. These aeons are also lined up with astrological constellations. It is believed that in 2012 we shifted into the Age of Aquarius, which means the Third Eye Chakra is currently located in Western Europe near Stonehenge. the location where major crop circle activity takes place.

Ajna opens portals and allows extra-dimensional energies to enter Mother Earth. It is said that invisible inhabitants come to this area to bask themselves in this energy which they use for the new age, also immortals are associated with this Chakra.

When we shift into the Age of Capricorn, the Third Eye Chakra will move to Brazil.

7. Crown (Saharasara) Chakra – Mount Kailas, Himalayas, Tibet Mount Kalilas in the Himalayas, Tibet is the place which corresponds to Mother Earth’s Crown Chakra. This has been one of the holiest places for centuries, and people living here play an important part in keeping humanity’s collective energy intact.

This place shows us Earth’s true purpose. This place asserts on the point it is important for spiritual practitioners and lightworkers to maintain the ritual of connect to the divine energy, else we shall face discord negatively which may physically manifest in due course of time as turmoil and unrest in places and among people.

We must reconnect to the divine energies, not only for the sake of Mother Earth but humanity overall. We understand it is not possible for us to visit all these places and meditate there, but we can always give distance healing, or use crystals for the corresponding chakras, hold them in our hands, connect to the chakra we want to give healing and meditate.

This way we improve our healing powers, improve grounding, clear karma and help Mother Earth and us to live in a better way with higher vibrations peacefully and with love. Mt. Kailas. is believed to be connected to the Scorpio Full Moon.

In fact, many locals harness the energy of Mt. Kailas on the night of the Scorpio Full Moon, which typically happens once a year in April or May. For Mother Earth, this Full Moon marks the start of a new evolution and a new cycle of energy, as Scorpio is connected to the idea of death and rebirth.

Male And Female Serpent Ley Lines

There are two large ley lines circling the Earth: the Rainbow Serpent, also known as Serpente Arcobaleno, or Female Great Dragon and the Plumed Serpent, also known as . Serpente Piumato or Male Great Dragon.

Through ceremonies at each of these sites and the Medicine Wheels connected to them through their sacred points, we connect through our hearts and send energy through the Earth’s sacred energy lines.

Ley Lines intersect are believed to be high points of energy or high concentrations of electrical charge. These Ley Lines are also said to be able to take information or energy from these higher vibrational points and carry them around the world, spreading knowledge and wisdom to all inhabitants.

These intersecting points along the Ley Lines are also coincidentally home to some of the most sacred temples and monuments in the world including the Egyptian Pyramids, Machu Picchu, Stonehenge and Angkor Wat.

When you look into advanced civilisations like the Ancient Egyptians, it is clear that they seemed to understand the energy and power of Ley Lines.

In fact, most ancient cultures around the world seem to have some understanding of Ley Lines. In China they are known as Dragon Lines.

In South America the Shaman’s referred to them as Spirit Lines, in Australia the ancient Aboriginals called them Dream Lines and in the west they are referred to as Ley Lines.

What is also interesting to note is that where the Ley Lines intersect and meet, they also align perfectly with astrological constellations.

If you think of these Ley Lines as Mother Earth’s energy currents, you will begin to see how it is possible that Mother Earth also has energy centers or chakras.

Other Ley Line Energy Points

Even though these 7 chakras have a very high energy, there are also other high points of energy around the world where the Ley Lines travel.

These include-

Bermuda Triangle

Karachi, Pakistan

Devil’s Sea Triangle

Mount Fuji, Japan

Sedona, Arizona

Lake Louise, Canada

How does a Shaman or Medical Intuitive “See” and “Heal”?

Here are some of the most beautiful, potent, and life-changing forms of shamanic medicine I’ve been privileged to witness, participate in, and been initiated in over the last two decades. I’m listing with affection, a raised eyebrow, and the quiet certainty that miracles usually wear very old clothes.

  1. Soul Retrieval Somewhere along the way we all lose pieces of ourselves — the year your father left, the abortion you never told anyone about, the promotion that went to the guy who golfed with the boss. In shamanic traditions worldwide (from the Q’ero in Peru to the Buryat in Siberia), the healer journeys into non-ordinary reality, finds those shimmering fragments of you, blows them back into your chest with a feather or a rattle, and suddenly you’re crying like a baby because you can feel joy again. It’s the original “you complete me.”
  2. Extraction Healing Think spiritual surgery without the anesthesiologist or the bill. The shaman sees the crystallized grief or the intrusive energy that’s been living rent-free in your liver for fifteen years, pulls it out with their hands (or a feather, or a stone, or simply their mouth in the classic sucking method), and spits it into a bowl of water that immediately turns black. I’ve watched lifelong migraines vanish in eight minutes. It’s rude to stare, but impossible not to.
  3. Cord-Cutting & Energy Divorce You know that ex who still shows up in your dreams and mysteriously ruins every new relationship? Shamans see the etheric cords that keep you hooked. One beautiful Huichol elder I worked with used a little obsidian blade, maracas, and a lot of tobacco smoke to snip those cords while singing the most tender lullaby you’ve ever heard. You walk away lighter, slightly drunk on freedom, and your phone finally stops autocorrecting “I’m done” to “I’m down.”
  4. Plant Spirit Medicine & Sacred Dietas In the Amazon, you “diet” a single plant — Bobinsana for heartbreak, Chiric Sanango for speaking your truth, Ajo Sacha for boundaries that don’t require explaining yourself on Christmas. You drink the brew, eat bland food, abstain from sex and gossip, and let the spirit of the plant rewire your entire nervous system. People come back glowing, humming, and occasionally able to speak to trees. (The trees are usually very polite about it.)
  5. Despacho Ceremonies The Andean version of writing the universe a love letter. You create a gorgeous mandala of flowers, candy, coca leaves, seashells, and tiny symbolic offerings, then fold it all into a perfect package of prayer and blow your intention into it three times. When the bundle is burned or buried, the mountain spirits (Apus) supposedly open it like the world’s most beautiful Amazon delivery. I’ve seen cancer patients make despachos for healing and get clean scans two weeks later. Correlation, causation, cosmic FedEx — who cares? It works.
  6. Fire Ceremonies Write everything you’re ready to release on a tiny stick or piece of paper, feed it to the fire, and watch the smoke carry it straight to whoever keeps the cosmic recycling bin. There’s something about flames that makes forgiveness feel possible at 2 a.m. when nothing else does.
  7. Drum & Rattle Journeys A steady 4–7 beats per second matches the theta brain-wave state you had when you were four years old and still believed in magic. The shaman drums or rattles, you lie there with an eye mask on, and suddenly you’re riding a jaguar through the lower world or having tea with your 90-year-old future self who is very pleased with the choices you’re about to make. It’s the cheapest therapy on earth and the only one where the therapist occasionally turns into an eagle.
  8. Limpias (Spiritual Cleansings) with Eggs, Flowers, or Florida Water In Mexico and Central America, the curandera rubs you head to toe with limes, an egg, or a bouquet of basil dipped in perfume water while whispering prayers older than the Spanish language. When she cracks the egg into a glass afterward, the yolk sometimes looks like the exact trauma you just told her about. I stopped asking “how” a long time ago and started saying “thank you.”
  9. Ancestral Lineage Healing Because your great-grandmother’s rage issues didn’t actually die with her — they just moved into your hips. Shamans from Dagara to Hawaiian traditions create rituals where the ancestors are invited, fed, apologized to, and asked to stop possessing the living. I’ve seen addiction patterns dissolve in one weekend when the right ancestor finally got the song they’d been waiting a hundred years to hear.

Every single one of these practices is older than modern medicine, gentler than chemotherapy, and — when done with integrity — more effective than anything I ever prescribed in my white-coat days.

They all rest on the same principle the quantum physicists in What the Bleep were trying to tell us: everything is energy, everything is connected, and love is the strongest medicine we have.

If your soul is tired of waiting for the double-blind study, come sit by a fire with me sometime.

What is a receiver you ask? It is in the book called “The Giver” by Lois Lowry.

The Giver

As Lois Lowry stated in her acceptance speech when she won the Newbery Medal for The Giver, she began writing a book that takes place in a utopia, where everything is perfect. She learned from her memories that living in a perfect society is not risk-free, that dangers lurk in a society in which everything is the same and in which the freedom to choose how to live has been given up. Lowry’s memories are the basis for The Giver, and her writing conveys lessons about life to her readers.

In the book, the Chief Elder goes on to explain the qualities that a Receiver of Memory must possess. These qualities include intelligence, integrity, courage, wisdom, and the Capacity to See Beyond.

In these extraordinary times, you are being given the opportunity to heal everything that hasn’t been healed.
Have you lost a baby and wondered -WHAT IT MEANS –
Do you wonder if the Father of the baby, whether he knew or was oblivious, was affected by the pregnancy?
Do you wonder How to make the world a better place? This helps everyone and every lineage. You may know already, the first law of thermodynamics.  It is also known as the Law of Conservation of Energy.

It states that energy can neither be created nor destroyed.
Your energy and all energy can only be transferred or changed from one form to another.

For example, You can convert the chemical energy in food, like watermelon, into kinetic energy by riding a bicycle.
Another example is turning on a light that would seem to produce energy. It is electrical energy that is converted.
Static electricity, which results from an imbalance or separation of the positive and negative charges on an object.

Thank you TED Talk -We stand on your shoulder as we spread – ideas worth spreading!

Abortion is extremely common. In America, for example, one in three women will have an abortion in their lifetime, yet the strong emotions sparked by the topic — and the highly politicized rhetoric around it — leave little room for thoughtful, open debate. In this personal, thoughtful talk, Aspen Baker makes the case for being neither “pro-life” nor “pro-choice” but rather “pro-voice” — and for the roles that listening and storytelling can play when it comes to discussing difficult topics.

“Human beings are works in progress that mistakenly think they’re finished.” Dan Gilbert shares recent research on a phenomenon he calls the “end of history illusion,” where we somehow imagine that the person we are right now is the person we’ll be for the rest of time. Hint: that’s not the case.
